It certainly can be. That's why I make sure I don't go online (except if I need to look something up) on the weekends and spend that time with my daughter instead.

It's very addicting, alot of people I know including my self spends hours on the net. I need to stop.

it became an addiction for me..when i have no connectivity it's like i lost touch with reality..it's a weird feeling..since i am not doing much around here everytime..sometimes i just sit around..browse..talk on yahoo..but i hate it when i know i have no connection..and mylot is addictive too..there is not one single day for me not to login and i usually spend hours here when i have the time...

Yes, the internet can be very addicting. I can't wait to get on it especially to post on here and a few other sites that I frequent. I think that once you start you can't stop at times. LOL...if only life was about the internet.

I find that all the time. I have been on the computer for the last 4 hours and I do not think I will be getting off anytime soon. The internet is so addicting. Yesterday I was on mylot and the power went out at my house and I had to read a book for an hour and I felt so bored and I craved to get on my computer. I think if there was no more TV, computers and internet, or cars I think that people would go crazy!

I don't think so, but my husband does, and he doesn't even use a computer. lol
