well I was sitting here thinking about it and seems that smoking this is becoming more and more common as the times go by. more and more people smoke it. you see it more out of teens than you do in adults but there are a lot of adults that do it to... smoking it messes with your mind, it makes you not think so clearly, it impares you ability to drive, it messes with your judgement on things...but...it helps with so much also that s why they have medical stuff out. now of course many people use it for fun or pleasure or because they think it is "cool". I use to think that if they would legalize it it would make things so much easier...and I mean of course there would have to be an age limit and an amout limit.. I know that it might be better if they would just legalize it but I am sure they will not. I mean there would have to be a law of no driving with it like with alcohol. so I was curious what everyone here at mylot thinks about it... my mind has changed back and forth on rather they should or not...

Weeds is a sort of medicine but using it beyond the minimal allowed can be dangerous. Smokers are common nowadays especially teens but some mature adults skip and stop smoking because of the danger can bring to their health

more and more teens are doing it and the peer pressure is getting stupid high which untimatly has more kids smoking than usual. the thing is yes some adults have stopped and some kids did so that they could better their life. as far as better their health...i dont know since weed s suppose to help you and cure you and makes things better. i have never actually heard anything bad about it damaging your health...BUT...that isnt to say that it wouldnt.

Smoking anything is bad for your lungs though. Having said that, there various other methods such as using a vapourizer or eating it. I don't think more kids will smoke it even if its legalized. Kids wanna do what you tell then they shouldn't do. For example: You wouldn't tell your kids something like this would you ? "Kids daddies going out for awhile, please whatever you do DON'T break or play with my trouphy" Guess what happens next ?? So you see what i'm saying here i hope ??

There's a big difference the teens today compared before. Peer pressure is the main reason and to accepted by the group is one way of encouraging youth to enter the world of different vises.

Hi Crazzydolphin I know a few people who have it for medical purposes, there have been many studies done on this substance people who have MS claim it to really work and also people who have glaucoma (eye disease) claim it works for them as well. I think if it is used to help a person for medical reasons and it helps them it is no different than having a prescription.

my dad has cancer and he could get the medical stuff. he chooses not to and it isn't approved here where I live yet. I don't know if it really would help him or sure him but I heard it cures cancer...I will say if it cures or helps things like that it is definitely nessisary. it is a good think in that since and there is nothing wrong with it. I agree it is like a prescription.

To my knowledge it does not cure cancer as it can cause cancer. But it helps to relieve nausea and of course being stoned - the pain is lessened.

I know what you're saying, legalizing it will make everything easier and better for everyone. I can agree with that. But why would the authority want to make it better for every commoner, that is not going to happen over here. The power to be like to make things complicate for us the common people and hope to benefit from those complication, you should know by now how our powerful institution work inside this land.

that is a very good point. they love to make things that much more difficult for everyone. they have legalized it in some states and with time they might in a few others but for anything other than medical i do not see it happening. yes they are very powerful and only care about themselves and what will help them never what would help the rest of the people.

I am highly allergic to it so I hope that they don't ever legalize it! Today I just walked into the gas station to buy a drink for my boyfriend and to pay for my gas and I walked by some kids who had just smoked it and my eyes started burning and my throat started swelling. I had to pull my jacket over my face to make a makeshift filter and hurried with my purchase. It scares me out of my mind that they will legalize this stuff and I will live everyday wondering if my throat will close completely off and my eyes swell shut.

I have never carried an epi pen I just run for fresh air, fast. The thing is that I shouldn't have to worry about carrying one. People should respect that fact that I'm allergic and choose not to use around me. Legal or not it's not nice to do that to people.

What is the good of it being used leisurely apart from feeling high? I feel that this grass can only create more problems for the society at large. People who smoke that will mess up their mind. Is not that dangerous? Why do we need to take the risk to endanger the teenagers who may be tempted to try if they could get it legally. Anything that is not good should be banned, not legalized.

I say stop wasting time and legalize it already. I never saw the harm in it and I never knew anybody to do anything to harm anyone while high on it. Sure there will probably be some sort of limit as far as age and amount you can possess legally but seriously if I could, I would grow it..
