Some people say they never dream but I dream every night, most of the time I have like 3 or 4 different dreams and sometimes when i get up to go to the bathroom and then go back to sleep i keep getting back to the same dream. My boyfriend tells me I should write a book about my dreams course they always so weird. I usually remember just about every word and detail from my dreams. Do you think that people who say they don't ever dream just don't remember their dreams course I think everybody dreams, some just don't remember in the morning.

I may remember when I first wake up, but then the memories fade and are completely gone by noon or so.

Hello missybear! i also have at least 3 or 4 dreams every night and all of them are very weird (sometimes) and i find it also very starnge that i remember major part of my dream. some people have claimed that do not dream but seems untrue to me as probably they do not remember their dream that does not proved that they do not dream, i think all of us dream less or more. I also heard that excessively dreaming is not at all good , i do not know how far it is true?

hi there missybear, i think dreams and dreaming depends on each one of us... we all have different experiences and we all have different things on our mind and we can have dreams, or not as well. =) it depends really. I do dream most of the time, but sometimes i don't actually. i guess that is okay with me... when i dream though i want to be able to interpret what i dreamed about. he he

hi missy, i think that our dreams have meanings and it can be an extension of our waking life... our fears, our aspirations and what we have mostly thought of/about during our waking time. =) .

I have a lot of dreams about plane crashes...I actually had one last night which made me think about this discussion, I have a fear of flying and I think that's why I always dream about it and even in my dreams I'm terrified of being on a plane.

Dreams can be weird. I have 3 or 4 different dreams sometimes with no recollection of anything in the morning. I know this because I wake up during the night with the dreams occurring. One will flow into the other and be different or they will just change from one to the other. Then, I will remember later on, maybe that day or maybe I will even have the same or a similar dream again and I will remember maybe a week later...not a memory so much as a slow motion flashback in the back of my mind somehow. Does that make sense to you?

As long as we have the ability to sleep, dreams will never leave us. We dream every night, 4-6 times. Some people believe they don't dream, it's only because they wake up during NON-RAPID EYE MOVEMENT (NREM) period, this is the time during our sleep when the dream does not occur. But if the person wakes up during RAPID EYE MOVEMENT (REM) period, this is the time when the dreams occur, he/she remembers the dream. And the reason why we don't remember exactly the contents of our dreams, it's because they are vague, since they occur 4-6 times a night.

I think, every time we sleep, the average dream per night is 4 to 6. However, not all dreams can be remembered when you wake-up because of such reasons (maybe too stress). For me, dreams can be a sign or warning that may happen in your life or it can be symbolized your past or personality as a person. Since I don't usually remember my dream, I jot down only a few things I remember and I visit dreammoods.com to find the interpretation of my dream. Well, every detail of my dream is a warning that can be happened in the near future. Some are good, and some of course. But no matter what the interpretation, always keep your faith.

Except for people who have their sleep interrupted often because they cannot breathe or something I believe that everyone dreams. They just do not remember their dreams. I know that is my issue,I cannot remember. Sometimes I can remember when I first wake up but then it fades. I also have even more vivid dreams when I take melatonin.

I agree with you that everyone does dream but there are a lot of people that don't remember their dreams when they awaken in the morning. Me, I'm one of those people that does remember a lot of the dreams that I have, but I also have to say that there are also times that I am not able to recall my dreams. Recently, I've been having a lot more frequent and memorable dreams. Some of these dreams are dreams that are good while others (like the most recent one that I remember) are dreams that I wish I would have never had.

I just had at least 3 dreams last night that I can remember, none of them bad unless you think having none of the washing machines work and you have to hand spin the laundry bad.

I definitely think everyone dreams every night but they don't remember it. I am grateful that I have not had a bad dream in a while. The last bad dream I had was months back, I was dreaming that my husband was cheating. Then I got up, went back to sleep and the dream continued. I hate those! I have not had a good dream that I remember in a really long time!

I usually dream at nights, too... and yes, my dreams are really weird. And what the funniest thing is that they make perfect sense while I'm dreaming, but when I get up, I only remember excerpts, and they don't make sense at all :P.

I don't think I dream every night. And most of the time if I do, I don't remember all of it. I also noticed that whenever I am so tired, I do not dream at all.

I think everybody has a dream every night. Its just that they will not remember it when the morning comes. I am kinda like that too. I sometimes think that I had a dream but couldn't remember it. Before I always have a crazy dream, but when I had my Dream Catcher, never had crazy dreams at all. ^_^

This is a weird topic for me because i always talk to my father about why me and him never dream. Me and my father can not sleep, we never have dreams but when we do have dreams it is weird because they are always bad and then we remember every part and do not want to go back to sleep. I wonder why that is?

I've heard that everyone dreams whether they remember it or not. For me I very seldom dream but when I do I usually remember it. Sometimes their good dreams and sometimes not very. I think it has to do with whatever I'm doing or thinking about before I go to bed.
