We Got Beds!!!!!!

Wow! My daughter just got the bed she had called for a few weeks ago. We have several church organizations that people in the community can call and request furniture and when they get them in they will come and bring them to us. We have gotten couches, beds, etc. Glad you finally got some beds. I actually like sleeping on the floor. Rather sleep on the floor than some mattresses.

good for you. it makes me feel crazy for complain about my bed hurting my back when there are people who don't even have bed. I don't know if you have kids or not. but I'm happy you're off the floor. and God bless the people who were able to help you get there

I am so sorry that you didn`t have beds! Why didn`t you? I remember when we went to the US when we were little and my parents rented a house with no furniture. My parents went to a place where they sold second hand furniture for just a few dollars. Wouldn`t that cost less than paying internet? Take care!

Hurray! =) Beds are soooo comfy! Although sometimes I miss sleeping on the floor like I used to when I was a kid.

Dear MoonGypsy, I have no idea why you had to sleep on floor for a year. But I guess if you were given a choice you wouldn't have go through that. I am glad that now your family and you can finally have some beds to sleep on. Sleeping on bed is a lot more comfortable and healthy compared to sleeping on the floor. Don't give up and work hard for a better life.

Moon, Forgive me. I respond to too many discussions and I feel like I've responded to enough of yours that I shouldn't have to ask but I'm sorry..I do. My memory is bad...why again are you sleeping on floors and what is this organization?? You know what really gets me in this story and others like it is that we are in the US and our country is more willing to provide for foreigners than they are us! This just gets my blood boiling. It isn't tha I think we should not help but not at the expense of our own people. A person from another country could come over here and at a very very low interest rate, get a loan to start a business, buy a home etc and all the while we have citizens sleeping on the floor or homeless.

Good for you, I have a bed but I really need a new one, my mattress is like 10 years old and I feel like it's hurting my back

That's great. I've actually spent 3 and half years of my life sleeping on the floor. This was when I was in college. Me and my brother had to rent a room. The room had only one bed, so my brother slept on it, and I had to settle on a thin mattress on the floor. I got used to it at one point, then my parents bought me a new bed.

that is infact cool and super cool and now the back pain,you can get it rid off completely and more over the hurting does not happen and you can have a comfortable sleep

I'm so happy for you. I know what you feel now. I've never actually slept on the ground, but when I tried (for fun), it hurt my back a lot. I can jus timagine how you were doing without beds for such a long time. You really deserve those beds!

I am so glad for you that you got the bed and I hope you will sleep comfort on your bed with your family. sometimes I feel so good of sleeping on the floor, as I always sleep on the bed, so after sometime I sleep on the floor and I really go to a deep sleep there :)

I am so sorry to hear that you are sleeping on the floor for a year..[em]sorry[/.em]. I cannot imaging if I have to sleep on the floor. Besides back pain, I think getting up will be a problem for me too. So glad that the organization has done a good job to provide you and your family some beds. This is much more comfortable compared to sleeping on the floor. Congratulations to you!
