I have the same features since I was in school. Honest, my friend from 1st grade even recognised me after having not seen me for over 15 years. And yet, I always felt so left out when other girls got hit on, got more dates or guys interested in them than they could handle or got all the good guys and messed them up while I was a little wallflower. Then suddenly after I got real serious with this guy and was almost about to marry him, and after we got married too, I suddenly am drawing a lot of attention, and have so many guys actually asking me out and flirting with me like crazy. What gives??

Most women get better with age. That is why some get hit on more as they get older...

That is right but then again, I see some girls who look so lovely just being young and innocent, I am just sorry no one thought I was that way when I was that age :( but then again, I used to be very serious, there was a lot of eve teasing I experienced when I was growing up cos I was rather big built for my age, so I coped by looking rather grumpy to keep off advances.. that may have shooed away people...

A big girl looking like she is ready for a fight? Sounds hot to me. I like a challenge, so I would probably have hit on you anyway. If nothing else, maybe I could have made you laugh.

It is because you have turned yourself into a beautiful swan! I think that some girls really look better when they get a bit older.

Yay fir womankind! We get more beautiful as we age!! Here's to us all!! How many men can truly say that about themselves. Most men I know neglect them selves so bad - shave rarely, get an unsightly pot belly, slouch, neglect their wardrobe..what not, but we - we just keep getting better and better!!

Women in their 30's is where that blooming starts, I suppose. And we need to be really vigilant in taking care of ourselves coz once menopause kicks in, women's beauty just tends to wither.

I know some girls who grow or shall I say become more prettier as they got married.
Some after giving birth.
I know some of my friends who looks that way- or maybe because as women grow mature that shows physically too.

There. That's what I was thinking. You may well have hit the nail on the head :) And as for being prettier after giving birth, I have something a little behind - I experienced and know about some girls who were ogled at while obviously pregnant! Ha ha. Men are strange animals! When is it more obvious that you are already 'taken' than when you are pregnant!

People want what they CAN'T have-bottom line. I went through the exact same thing. I was always shy and never really seemed to get much attention, until I was in a relationship with someone! Then all the time I would get hit on. Same thing when I got married, all of a sudden people were telling me I wanted a chance with you back then...
That is what I think it is, you want what you can't have...

I think its just because the time. I means like for having a good job or something, if its not our time to get a good job, even we already applied to hundreds of it, it willno one will accept us, but if its our time for having a good job, even we apply just 2 good job we want, or maybe even just one, we will be accepted at that job. So i think just the matter of time, and maybe last time was not your time to have guys hitting on you, but right now is the time (even it can be means negatively or positively)

Yeah. That time thing, tell me about it. I am getting jobs now that I could have lapped up if I was single. As it is with a hubby and two brats, I feel awful about the number of opportunities that I have to pass up cos of time constraints, when I could so use that extra money!!
You may be right :)

Ha ha. Well. that would be easy if it were guys that knew me and knew I was married, I am talking about guys in general. Even someone passing me by who cannot see my wedding ring (in a vehicle or something) giving me the lingering look and stuff..
