seems like we've laid all our cards on the table: what now?

I notice that most of us here have been so vocal, honest, and expressive regarding our lives and the issues we go through day-to-day. In fact, I even read some posts which are too confidential and too personal and yet we read them all here. It seems like nothing is left to tell. Everyday, we see posts coming from mostly the same active members and I could not help but admire the endless narration of their life stories. My question is, when all is said and down, after we lay out all our cards and spilled all the beans, do we still have anything left to tell? I am often left with almost nothing to share after sharing portions of my life. What do you think about this? Is it possible to have an endless story?

Life is a long journey. I believe there are endless stories. It all depends on whether we will pour it out here or withhold some then there we will have less to share...

Life is indeed a long journey and along the way we can't help it but collect some new stories.

If we are still alive our story continues and normally we open up those stories to our family and friends. That is the reason we are not alone on this world. Sharing ideas is the best learning tools for us. We can learn from others experiences

How true, July. We also get our stories from our dealings with other people.

While we are still alive our stories will continue on the roll. Let's share stories everywhere even online

Life is an endless story as long as we still breathe and many have been to the other side and back with yet another story to tell. Everyone can benefit by people who have shared what their life has had to offer. Lessons are not always found in school books, but life itself is an open classroom.

I think you can have an endless story. The same things in a variety of ways. Think about it. The longer the book the more you add and keep adding till the pages run out....

You can never satisfy anyone just as what you want them for human wants is un satiable. Satisfactions is of no boundaries it always asking for more. For me just do the best for the day as what you said laid all cards, meaning the best from you for him to select for it will always be a key to success doing what is best and what is right.

Yes, Teo, it sounds like a tall order but I know that it can be done.

Although I personally see Mylot as wonderful therapy a place where I can be myself, something that I cannot be offline, where I get unconditional support and advice, not all my cards are placed on the table, there are a few things that only my therapist knows about me and I would never ever contemplate talking about it on Mylot. Same too with a few subjects that are taboo, I wouldn't talk about them because I know they'd upset members and that's the last thing I'd want to do. So there are some parts of my life that remain mystique!

I think that we all have a right to pick and choose what we post here. And, yes, I think we all do have 'an endless story' or the story of our lives. I have a very uneventful life except for now and then or if my kids are doing something. And, again, it is up to us what we share. I have probably twelve or more fellow members on here that I feel friendly with and of whom I admire and value their opinions and input. I don't have a problem with sharing things with them. They are the ones who usually read and respond to my posts so I have no problem with what I post. And, I guess, if certain others have to start discussions about what we think about this occurrence we can make money explaining it all for them from time to time. No skin off my back.

I would really miss the posts from our regulars it gives me something to answer and you feel like you really get to know people.I am of the opinion that some people do make it up.But what does that matter we can be who we want because we will never meet up.Telling complete strangers your worries ect can be really liberating face to face on the bus ect.On here you can really go to town and tell everybody everything.I have done this myself in the past and have benefited from some very good advise. No I don't think anybody has spilt the beans completely as life changes so quick new things happen sad or happy I enjoy putting in my opinion.Life is an endless story it is evolving all the time and I for one really enjoy it.
