I remember the time that i was learning to drive a car... i was too fool in that and not caring of other cars at all, i see, i am kind of driver that easily i can make accident and send myself to the second world... first time, while of turning in the road, i turn the car around itself and some people laughed at me and my brother get too angry....
How was your first driving experience ?

I'm a cautious driver. Perhaps even too careful especially when I first got my driver license. The first time I was pulled over by the police on the freeway, I was warned for driving too slow just below the speed limit while I was supposed to be following the flow of the rush hour traffic...

My personal belief is that one should not be pulled for driving below speed limit, but may be you can drive fast enough when there is very low traffic, and if speed limit so permits.

The first time I was behind the wheel in my high school driver's ed class, I put the school car in the bar ditch. I ran off the edge of the pavement, overcorrected twice and wound up in the ditch. I don't remember having to call a wrecker to pull the car out, so I suppose that the male class members who were riding in the back seat must have been able to push it out. This occurred during the 1951-52 school year.

hi there,
I love driving, doesn't matter if its a car or a bike.comparing bike and car,I would prefer driving a car as its a different feeling all together. We had a car in india long time back,And when we use to go meet our grandpa and grandma in the car,I use to sit next to the driver seat to watch how he drives,Teach me driving was never the option as i hardly stayed with my parents for education purpose,so whenever i use to go home,I use to apply some maska to our driver to teach me when my dad is out.He always use to say,I won't be able to teach you to drive as its something which you have to learn from your own experience.
One fine day i took the car i drove it myself without anyone inside the car,Being an Mechanical Engineer i knew cars very well,so gear shift, accelerator, clutch was no big deal.As i drove the car in the ground so it was a pretty amazing experience. I saw my mom yelling her lungs out to stop the car but i drove the car as if its a part of my body.Slowly i grab the opportunity to drive on the street then road and finally was the day when i drove the car at a maximum speed of 120 km/h on a national highway...One of the best driving experience in my life..
Now when i am in a different country, driving at a speed of 120 is just a normal speed..love to drive alone, just a song from love aj kal "Ye Duriyaan" and me driving..

driving in india is like next to impossible, the traffic ,rush, people,no such rules called lanes or speed limit. If you can drive from heavy traffic, then you can drive anywhere in the world, provided you should be aware of right and left hand drive.
One is always scared to drive, but if you don't give it a try,how are you gonna face you fear then..?

Well, initially my trainer told me that I was afraid of other cars, and that I could not control the steering well. Yet I practiced a lot, and that helped me. I became much better at driving and finally able to drive independently also. I still at times feel difficult in heavy traffic and when people are driving too badly. Yet I keep my cool and stick to drive safely and not accelerating unnecessarily.

Unfortunately, in India people do not follow traffic rules, and there is so much arrogancy and aggressiveness while driving, which is so bad. And this is why India has the highest accident rates in the world. Time to change this attitude, and be saner and safer on road.

Boy, I loved driving. I once enrolled at a driving school and when I had the opportunity to get a car on loan, I chose one that is automatic and was driving for quite a time. Unfortunately, the monthly amortization of the loaned car was too much to bear so I decided to return it, but I did love driving. I think I am a very safe driver.

Even I scared of driving. I got my 2 wheeler for the last 4 years and not even took the licence or I hardly take it out for a drive. Except me, all at home are using this bike. I used to drive for some time inside the campus and not out of the residing area. If this is the case, what about 4 wheeler? hahahah

That is one of the things I regret in my life--not being able to learn how to drive. I was so much discourage by my boyfriend then to learn how to drive coz he said that he can always take me home and fetch me from our house . So when my dad was about to buy me a car, my boyfriend told my mom that it was just a waste of money coz he can drive for me if I wanted to.
