I wish I was a MAN..!

I can do all that stuff and I am a woman. And in fact my husband does 99% of the cooking because that is what he loves to do. I am free and I do what I want when I want. It's another reason I love Canada too.

My though was just opposite of you! I wish to be girl and at the time of school and college, I got a lot of friends as girls and on those days I wished to be a girl only because I though I could share their discussions on various topics. In school, it was not so friendly, but when I was in college, 90% of friends were girls and it is so strange that when I studied for degree course (3 years) I was the only boy among other 14 girls! Some how it was boring, but I enjoyed the life with those girls, just like a homely atmosphere and friendly life. However, I don't think in these days the think about the oposite gender is not so important. Many girls/women enjoy the full freedom just like the man or boys and in certain cases, girls enjoys morethan what man or boys do. I am working in such an office were all the girls used to enjoy the life just like boys or man and I think they are much happy in whatever form they are...

I don't wish I were a man. But I completely understand what you are saying about their freedom and all that they are able to do. I just wish to be a woman and be capable of supporting myself and my daughter. It is annoying how my husband can work, go here and there with flexibility while I'm stuck with all the responsibilities. But I will have to work to do my best to change that.

Hmmmmm, Actually we can not say that who is better a man or a woman, Some women are really enjoying a lot in this world and they are living a wonderful life and some men also not happy they are living the life like hell, i know personally some.Although i am so happy with my life and i have some friends who are girls and they are really so happy with their life some are in my office where i am working and some are old friends, they enjoy every moment and know how to live a beautiful life. Even some times i think that they are really enjoying their life, i am a boy but i am one of them. Sorry to read about you, as you describe but actually life is the name of problems but every problem has a solution, we should think about that actually what is the concern, what is the cause behind the problem and how can we solve it, if you would think then i am sure you would find a solution. I do not know what is the situation that you have, what your husband think, which kind of environment you have, I am sorry but you think negative, please think positive, try to talk to your husband about this matter, tell him that you do not like all these restriction,try to understand him that you really love him, ignore the things which you do not like in your husband and accept which you like and just remember that do nor run from responsibilities and always be happy!I hope everything would be Good with you because you are Good!!

It sounds to me as if you're not unhappy being a woman but unhappy with the way women are treated and expected to act in your country. I'd therefore recommend that you find a way of changing things. I'm sure there are many others in your situation who feel the same, so why not find them and work together for what you want. I don't know a lot about how the system works in India, but most of the world is heading more towards equal rights in all areas so you should be able to get things started. Or a lovely looking lady like yourself shouldn't have any problems finding a husband who will treat you in the manner you deserve and desire so that you can have the extra freedom a man gets while retaining the underlying power, influence and status that a lady always really has.

Along with rights, a man also has obligations. Thus, I think it is a trade off, except is societies where women are treated like property instead of like fellow human beings.

God puts us on Earth as a man or woman. This is part of the parameters of our life. God did not decide this lightly. On the other hand gender should never prevent one from accomplishing what they want in life. Make plans and work toward that goal. Will is 90% of anything. I know a lady who is a police officer. I know a lady who is a jet engine mechanic. How many times did people tell them they could not do the job? It doesn't matter because they didn't listen. They set goals and did not give up until they were accomplished. You are capable of the same.

I have experienced a lot of problems in my life, but never have I thought of wanting to be a man. It was least of mu worries.

I am happy to be a women the way God made me. I know our customs are different from where you live, but even so the Man is still the head of household in our family and we follow what he says as long as it is not illegal.

i have had rough life here. A real bad last 2 years. But Id never thin about becoming a man.

being a man is not as good as you may think it may be and well if I could carry a baby inside of my body I would and would not even think twice about it

Whenever I have some difficulties of being a woman and seeing how men enjoy their freedom even they are also in a relationship, I also wish the same thing. I believe that women make a lot of sacrifices compared to man especially in building a family. When a woman gets married, she can easily makes changes in her life by giving up most of her desires and everything she has for the sake of the family.

sometimes i do wish i was a man too,i must be honest,i'm not that happy with my gender.though man and woman are equal nowadays,but there are still many discrimination in our society .especially job discrimination and child gender discrimination in family. in some countryside,if you have a boy baby,evey family member is happy and will reward you some money,while if you have a girl,they will feel they will feel shame,man do have more power there. But i donot care this,I donot have a child yet,I'm a woman not that easy to pregnant,i wish i was a man,then i donot have this tough mission,as it's a really pressure for me for every day.

The problem with being a man is that people expect you to 'be a man'. This may mean doing things you are uncomfortable with. Am I happy being a man? In general yes, as I love women and the interaction I have with them. If that's you in the picture, then I would expect life as a woman for you should be very fulfilling. Hi friend...When I was young I also wish I was a man. You are right, man has many advantages than woman such as he free go to anywhere without barrier, he can determine his future and has more respect from society. But, now I was receive that I was born as a woman, because I have husband that love me and protect me from any disturbances and help me to solve my problems. Now, I enjoy my gender.

sorry i am man but being woman being mother is the most valuable thing in this world i think,of course i am happy and fine with my gender but if i were a mom,i would be appreaciate to god. i think you are thinking in different way and also you are right,many men like giving orders and trying to be right in business life . but i think if women have a good charachter and good informations about what job they do,they never allow the men who are with bad habits like that. i think we should be appreciate to our mothers to give us a birth and bring us up. happy mylotting

We cannot decide our gender neither can we decide which family we belong to. No matter what problem in life we are facing, we need to find a solution to overcome them or else we will be living in a defeated life. Though we may wish to be the opposite gender but it will never happen so we need to face the reality. I am sorry for you perhaps you have gone through much trials in your life as a lady.
