Hiii Friends... Every morning my mom asks me to drink water and keeps on telling me various advantages of it. She says it remove toxins from our body and most of the waste products. I have also read that we should drink atleast 8-10 glasses of water. I harldy drink 2-3 glass of water.
What do you think? Should I start drinking more? What all advantages do you know?

drink more water it is better for you. Helps stay healthy. If you dont llike drinking water by itself try adding flavor to it.

Same pinch Mariaperalta. They adviced me the same. So my mom is forcing me to drink enough water. I have started drinking it. I love her alot. She really takes good care of me.

That probably depends on your genes.
People are always spouting the joys of drinking water, but it does not have the same effect for everyone. Its just like smokers. Some people can smoke like crazy and yet still manage to always look 10 years younger and be in excellent shape despite all the hype that comes with like premature wrinkles and cancer.
Do a trial. For a whole month, drink more water and see what it does for you.

You know what, they say water is life. Our body has more fluid content. Nothing bad will happen if you drink more water so why keeping it short? Water also helps reduce body heat which is the cause for pimples. It is not always necessary to drink plain water. You must take fluids. That's more important.

I have many pimples on my face so doctor have advised me to drink lots of water which I dont. But now I have taken it seriously. lol..

2-3 glass of water per day? its not much, you can drink water with a juice, just try to drink water instead of cola and surly you're gonna be healthy :)

I know that is not enough. I hated to drink water because it is tasteless. So i am going to try out new ideas. I will not even hate it and my body will also get dehyderated

If you drink other drinks other water, then try replacing at least one with water to add to your diet. Drinking it through a straw may help. It may be psychological thing, but it has helped some people to try a straw. You may also add some lemon or a flavor of your choice to add to your water for a more desired taste. Either way, as long as you are getting enough of the right flluids, you should be fine. After all, you can live without food longer than you can without water, because believe it or not, your body is mostly made of water.

Sensory overload. The big mouth of the glass allows too much liquid in along with the all that cold from the water overwhelming out mouth and tongue. A straw or bottle give us just a small amount so as not to cause too much stimulation thus providing a better taste experience.

Drinking from a straw for water does help me. I also drink more water when it is in a bottle instead of a glass. I don't know what the significance of those two things are but if I drink more that way I should try to remember that as well. Our bodies need a lot of water, we are 90% water content in our body!

Your mother is absolutely right. I drink a liter of water first thing in the morning. Each night before I retire to bed I drink another liter of water. In between I also drink water. Water also flushes toxins out of our system. Water dissolves waste products and toxins and excretes them as urine.

You cannot drink to excess. You can start by drinking one glass of water at a time or even half a glass.

I am trying to drink enough water after so many suggestions. Still it is somwhat hard for me to drink so much of water at a time. I am rrying level best to drink it enough. But will make sure that i will not drink in excess and fall sick. Lol...

Your mother is good remind you for drinking water because she know the benefit of water and I think in our body 75% is only water. My hubby is also drink water daily morning at least two glass. In whole day we should drink at least 10 to 15 glass water and really lots of problems is solved from water.

I think 10-15 glasses is bit excess. 8-9 glasses is more than enough. Anything in excess is also bad. And you are absolutely right that drinking water can solve lot of problems.

Hi! There are numerous advantages to drinking water regularly. The main one I can think of is your skin and how it will look after a few days. I used to have some problem areas on my face and after started drinking water more often, they were not as noticeable and it truly did not take long at all. I wasn't dehydrated and I was taking in less sugar and of course, was saving money!

Hi! They will over time so do be patient and persistent with the water.
Fruit is another great way to improve your skin as it has natural sugars which (unless there is a diet problem) which the body can take without trouble. It's the refined sugars you need to watch out for and you'll be surprised how much is around. Happily there are more choices than there were, say, 20 years ago. As we get more into warmer weather, more fruits are easier to come by; strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, peaches, berries, etc. and if you prefer, try the farmers markets. A bit more expensive but if you're anti-chemical, it's worth it. Could also pick your own if you prefer.

Hi,
I drink about 4-5 glass of water a day. I drink water when I feel thirsty. I don't drink water forcibly. Water is necessary for our blood circulation, digestion and excretion. Thus water has the important role in our body functioning. Your mom is very right and we should drink enough water.

Hii Roshigo.. I use to drink just 2-3glasses of water. My mom use to force me to drink atleast 8-9 glasses of water because I had some health issues. So I had started drinking it.

As our bodies are made 20% water you must be doing the right thing. I appreciate that drinking lots of water is rather tedious but it is worth the effort. So many people do not have clean drinking water and they would love to drink as much as they need. Water is one of those things we take forgranted, but we should treat it with respect. We can live for a long while without food but hardly any time at all without water.

Yes you should start drinking water everyday, I use to hate drinking water but because, of my heath now I make sure, I don't go a day with out, a glass of water, I need to drink me some water right now, I haven't had my water today, and I am very thirty just talking about water.

I don't enjoy drinking a lot of water in a day but I've taught myself not to hate water. I've found the best method for me is just drink down a glass every once in awhile all at once and get it over with.

You should listen and take heed what your mom advises you. Water is the utmost important in our body, especially to flush away toxins in us. If you could start your day with two glasses of water half an hour before your breakfast, that will helps to flush away the toxin in your kidney.

I learn that the best way to drink water is one cup each half an hour before meals. You can drink water after meals but not too much. Also, one cup of warm water before taking your shower as it will help in your blood circulation. So, you could have a good amount of water in your body in this manner

drinking water helps to keep your kidneys in good health.
kidneys are like washing machines, it cleans our impure blood just like the washing machines cleans dirty clothes. if u dont drink enough water then kidneys cant clean the blood properly as a result the dirt starts to accumulate in kidney resulting in kidney stone formation, kidney failure etc......so drink water regularly

my thought are water is better for you than any drink, makes you healthier and feel a lot better . clears out all that junk inside ... I think spring water is the best and put it in the fridge to get cold very cold and before old habits of soft drinks and other things not good for you goes away. also I am told you can lose weight, feel more refresh, better for your kidneys, good for the heart, and lots more...it is better than the water you get out of the sink for it has a lot of chemicals in it, but pure spring water does not...make sure it is spring water for other bottle water is just like the water out of the sink. Your mom is right water is good for you and she tells you out of love for you and better health...

I use many creams, syrups, etc for the pimple spots on my face. But when I stop using them they appear again. :( I have staretd drinking water for my spots. I want it to go as soon as possible

yes its hard drinking so many glasses of water, how can be it done, may be early morning one glass then with breakfast, lunch , in between , and with dinner, but its not like that , its said that at one time we should drink all those seven glasses but its really hard to drink so many at once.

I've already feel pain in my back because I drink water only 2 glass for a day since I change to coffee or tea than water, my back so sick and I stop doing that ..
Just never think less water makes my back pain so much, so since that I drink water minimum 8 glass for a day ..

Yes, it is very important to drink more in your case. It could lead to some problems such as dehydration or even kidney problems. Water is essential to almost all our body processes. Especially our kidneys which filters and removes the toxins in our body. So again, yes, drink more! Go through the net and you'll find so many benefits of water.

Water can be anybody's lifesaver. I drink three to four glasses of water before even taking breakfast everyday. It helps remove toxins accumulated during the night. It lowers blood pressure and keeps you hydrated. When you drink eight to ten glasses of water daily, you get to spend your hard-earned money on something you need more and those that you enjoy instead of spending it on medicines, doctor's fees and/or even hospital fees because you are not prone to sickness when you regularly take the needed fluid of your body. Additionally, those who drink plenty of water are youthful looking. They certainly have that beautiful glow in their skin.

Hii Adval.. I agrre with you. Even I had spent money on medicines, doctors,etc. Sometimes I regret for not drinking water. But now I have started drinking it. But I dont like to drink it before breakfast. But I have stated drinking water atleast 4-5 glasses per day. I will increase it day by day.

Of course you should drink more water. Drinking half your body weight in water (oz) is beneficial to your body in so many ways. Water has zero calories which could make it a useful and non harmful weight loss tool. It strengthens skin so your skin wil look healthy as you grow older. Water is 70% of the human body, and drinking enough of it improves thought process,metabolic rate and digestive system. It gives us more energy throughout the day and fights against sickness, disease and greatly reduces the risk for cancer. And as your mother said it does infact remove toxins from our body to maintain a healthy state.
