Can anyone tell me how to make my hard drive working again as I'm unable to open it.

This could either be an effect that your device is corrupted, or the hard drive is not updated. You can try saving your files to your computer and try to format your drive to its factory setting.
In addition, syncing your drive will eventually help in putting drive compatibility to your computer and your hard drive vice versa.

First try to plug it in to other USB ports available. If it is still cannot recognize, then plug it in to another computer. Still if it cannot be recognize, use other cables, that might be the one defective. That is actually what I am doing since I have several external hard drives and DVD writer, I'm just swapping their cables. try it and hope it works, otherwise you hard drive might be already defective. Good luck and happy myLotting!

try your USB thing to other computer. if still wont recognize, usually it already got some internal damage and nothing we can do to fix it. but first try it to different computer sure it will work. :-)
