Eating Something while Studying

Most of the times, I am eating while studying. I had observed that it really slowed down me in finishing my study. I used to eat junk foods, peanut, biscuits, etc. I believe the main reason was because my time is divided into two which was "eating" and "studying". Though I really love doing both, I think I should do them separately.
Do you eat also while studying? How does this affects you?

Really? That is great. Well, it is really opposite in my part as I get distracted when I eat something while studying. Usually, my attention gets divided every time I do such.

Multitasking? Eating and studying really are very much important. Eating feeds our stomach for us to be able to survive everyday. On the other hand, studying feeds our minds for us to be able to grow as a better individual. Love them both!

Haven't tried it before, when i was in college, i usually drink coffee why studying, black coffee, but not junk food or any other food, there is a tendency that when we get full in eating we tend to fall sleep, so i think its not advisable to eat while studying.

I had always like to eat while studying. I have also eaten lunch while studying. However, if the subject matter is very interesting, then it is not possible to eat while studying. What happens in most of us is that we are not really interested in the subject matter and so, we prefer to eat while we study.

It is not a problem if eating does not obstruct your study or that studying does not prevent you from eating. It is just that the priority of doing the more important thing should be observed at the moment, for example, when you are hungry and it is in fact, time for you to eat, you should eat - that is what your body needs. But when you are studying, munching some snacks is okay as long as the food won't make you losing interest in your studies. You said that eating had slowed down you, then maybe it is not that right for you to eat while you are studying. It is a good idea for you to separate the eating and the studying. I myself did eat and study at the same time during my student days. I did not find any problems.

I love eating while studying, but not junk foods. Because if you eat this kind of food you would be having difficult times to memorize your lesson. They contain Monosodium Glutamate that is not good for our memory. It's better if you eat chocolates instead. They memory enhancer :)
But most of the time, I finish my food first then continue my studies :)

I like to focus when i am studying so first i eat, so i will not get hungry fast when i study later and i can study for long hours. I agree, it is kind of like you attention is divided so you'll study longer i guess. Which is not very good.

Yeah I also like to eat while studying. Sometime study hard can make hungry, so I just snacking some foods. Maybe you should try chewing gum, it stimulates brain to work better.

I also do this sometimes but only when I don't want to take a break from my studies or books simply because I don't want to lose my pace and bearing. But I did not let this become my study habit or requirement because I tend to just forget that I have eaten quite a lot and just didn't feel it because I got too engrossed with what I am doing.

I don't really like eating while studying because it distracts me, but once in a while when I feel tired already I take a break and eat something. I stay away from junk food because I heard they're not good for the brain. Usually I eat biscuits or a something sweet.
On the other hand, I love eating while reading for pleasure. That's why some of the books I read have smudges in them.

I do eat and study but I often ended eating rather than studying. haha! And I get sleepy whenever I do studying alone. I eat chocolates and peanuts, cause they say it would help me think better and remember what I have studied. Don't really remember if it worked. =P

I think it depends on circumstance. From my perspective, the classroom is the place to study.if i study there,i won't eating while learning.but if i study in my dormitory,i would like to eat some fruit, such as apples, bananas, and so on.certainly, eating while studying will affect my learning efficiency.
