In my schooldays, i mixed studying and sleeping like somebody mixing studying and eating, studying and listening music or watching tv. I start studying and in few minutes i'll start sleeping. Then i wake up and study within 5 minutes. Then again i start sleepnig. This continues till my mom take away my books. I feel i can study well while i'm sleeping. What do you think about it?

Dear friend, your condition merits some consideration. perhaps ( let me avoid the prejudices) you neither sleep perfectly not study for the lasting results. You may read but the retaining of your memory may not be accurate. its like keeping the legs on two bapts. Please do one thing at a time. There is a proverb that says - The Abess, having such a lot of work to do, finally she began. The first thing she did was that she went to bed and relaxed well. When she woke up she felt refreshed and began to work with double enthusiasm. It is common in students. Some like to wake up early hours and they study well, then late hour of the morning they take rest but they go early to bed. There are some who can sit fresh until late in the night, but they do sleep inthe early hours of the dawn. But if you sleep doze and wake up then study... I do not know how effective it is. They say, to prepare for the exam and to retain the memory, you must study with concentration atleast for two hours continuously, then you enter in the core of that lesson and be able to retain the memory. Everything is subjective. To excel you must find out your own methodology. Have a nice study

I have accepted what you said. I also think the same. I will try to separate sleeping and study. But It's difficult to me.

This often happens, especially if we are not interest in the subject that we study. If we are passionately interested in the subject, then we would never fall asleep. However, some people may find it good while they sleep and study. Sleeping, after all, is relaxation and there is very high possibility that when you sleep and study a subject which you actually do not like, then the content of the subject can be easily grasped by you.

I think that is definitely not a good idea.. Although a good sleep can help us absorb all our knowledge.. but sleeping that often is not good. Can you even absorb anything? Although i am also like that, feeling sleepy while studying, so i sleep first then study later.. not in between.

haha! I love sleeping just to get out of studying but when I wake up, I still need to study and my time is almost short,. I always end up cramming, or I'd go back to sleep and when I'm off to school, that's when I do my reviewing or studying until the exam time. But always, I rest my mind for 5-10mins before taking the exam so that I don't write the wrong answers too much. =P It works for me, but my parents always tell me that if I get that grades because of cramming, what else if I studied that seriously, I would perhaps get perfect grades. But I'm too lazy to do that. =)

Well,i am not a studious student.but i think we should balance well between study and rest.if you want obtain a good result, learning to relax is really important and don't always worry about your study. In other words, eat right, exercise, and get enough sleep if you want to be a truly effective learner.that's all.have a good time!!

You need rest and sleep to be able to study. We study better in smaller increments of time. It is better to study for about 30 minutes and then study again the next day or later on in the day. It's harder for us to learn and remember information when we try to study for long hours at one time. Whenever I am studying, I try to study for small 30 minutes throughout the week.

I think it is not a very good habit, although i cannot blame you since studying can really be tiresome especially if you do not like the lesson you are studying. Are the lessons processed by your head, even if you sleep?

When I was still a student I would make sure that I get enough sleep before I study. In this way,my mind can perform its full potential and can retain more information. It was hard for me to concentrate on studies when I feel sleepy.
