I won't ask you whether god exist or not. Because i know that god exists. But my question is why god is deaf? I mean, why god doesn't hear the crying voice of his devotees? Many people shout at god to help them. I also do that many times. But god never mind. He won't listen what we are saying. I want a god who is not a deaf and dumb. I want a god who listen to us and give us comfort by saying i am with you.
Why god is like that?

There are many gods so I am not sure which god you are referring to. God does things in his own time. Sometimes we have some hidden sin we think no body knows about but God does and he has to wait until we are ready to give it up or maybe our faith needs to be tested and strengthen. There are so many reason that God may not be able to answer us. We might even be asking for something that isn't good for us.

I saw my grandpa from my childhood. Once he was very rich. He was very generous to all. If somebody asked for help to him, he would give whatever he asked and even more. He had more devotion on god. He built many temples. He did many things for temples and devotees. But his life was very sad. Sorrow surrounded his life. He become very poor. He prayed to god for his three daughter's good life. But now none of his daughters are living well. They are struggling life. He losses all his wealth, money, land and house. Now he is living like a beggar. He was asking the god for good health. He proudly said god has given me good health, that's enough to me. But now he has many health problems. He has heart attack, diabetes, asthma, and TB. His life became worthless. He cried to god for 20 years. But i don't know whether god hears or not. That's why i said that god is deaf.

First God is not going to listen to a temper tantrum. When someone is acting like a spoiled brat God will treat you as one until you get over yourself. God can do what he wants in his time and way. He knows best what is good for us. Sometimes we ask selfishly or amiss. We demand and other times God says no or not yet or wait. And then there are times he says yes and do you stop and thank him, praise his name. Every day is a gift and should be cherished. So here is your answer in scripture after scripture. You should go pray about these things and ask God to help you understand and help your doubt and unbelief.
We suffer because of our own foolishness. We reap what we sow (Gal. 6:7-9)
We sometimes suffer because it is God’s discipline. “For those whom the Lord loves he disciplines, and he scourges every son He receives” (Heb. 12:6).
We may suffer persecution because of our faith—especially when we take a stand on biblical issues, suffering for righteousness sake (2 Tim. 3:12).
Jas 1:6 - But let him ask in faith, (f) nothing wavering. (6) For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
Jas 4:2 - Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, (2) because ye ask not.
Jas. 4:3 - Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may spend it in your pleasures.
1Jn 3:22 - (22) And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 14:13
Blessed are you, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Matt. 5:11
John 15:18-25 (New International Version)
18 "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 20 Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. 21 They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the One who sent me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin. 23 He who hates me hates my Father as well. 24 If I had not done among them what no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. But now they have seen these miracles, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. 25 But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: 'They hated me without reason.'
In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ; (1 Peter 1:6-7)
Romans 5:3-4 3 And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;
James 1:3-4 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
1 Peter 1:6 In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials,
1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you;
1 Thessalonians 3:3 so that no man may be disturbed by these afflictions; for you yourselves know that we have been destined for this.
1 Peter 4:19 Therefore, let those also who suffer according to the will of God entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right.

They seem to have left out John 14:6:
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

It's not politically correct, I know, but it's true. If you want God to regard you as praying person that He ought to be hearing, you need to be in Christ and come to God the Father through Him. This doesn't mean that otherwise He will never hear your prayers (He knows everything that is said in heaven, earth or hell, and He will hear anything He chooses to hear), but He has put Himself under no obligation to do so. We are commanded to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and not to do so is iniquity. And If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me (Psalm 66:18 - This is the Psalmist who knows God speaking, the rule may not be as hard and fast for the ignorant, but the principle is there).
The prayers God hears, He answers according to His love and wisdom.

Have you ever heard Thank God for unanswered prayers. He knows what is best even if we do not understand why we go through the things we go through.

I Think God is not deaf, He saw everything what is going on in the world and what one is doing but he can not come on front of us. Sometime we saw very surprisable things that is because of God.God help us whenever we are in trouble but we are not able to see them. God gives the fruit according to our karma and if we are in trouble and God is not hearing for us then we can not say that it id God fault actually GOD did that and he want to teach a lesson to the person.God is not for human only , God is for animals also and he need to take care of all human and as well as animals....

I don't know which god you're referring to, but my God is not deaf. He hears everything and He knows, even when I don't cry out to Him. He answers my prayers and He cares about me and everyone else. He will answer your prayers if you believe in Him and if your prayers are not selfish or hurtful to someone else.
There is a God who listens and gives comfort and IS with us always.

God is not deaf. Human beings are deaf. God is not somewhere far from us. We people imagine that he is far from us because we areclosed minds.
God loves us with all his heart, but we people turn a deaf ear. We do not obey his instructions. We are disobedient and rebellious and then when things go wrong, we start blaming and accusing God as if something is wrong with God.

Life is about learning and growing as people. That takes tackling challenges, overcoming adversity, figuring out how to solve problems, and learning to become capable which includes standing on your own two feet. We all know God can solve all our problems. Kiddies are a bit spoiled for they come to expect God to solve it all.
God always places help around us to help us with our journey. It is important the we choose for ourselves. Let's show God what we can do rather than give up so easily.
Reality is that God hears it all. God actually will grant His children anything that does not interfere with their lessons or the lessons of others. Further, when you actually really need help it shows up from somewhere. It always does for me.

we only have one God..its just that we knew Him in different names... maybe you were too busy listening to the outside world and you forgot to have inner peace where He talks to us in his own ways...

God is not deaf. he only does the thing, which will be most beneficial to us.
Because they knows better than us. god have more experiences than us. If you think he does't listens, than that must be for the sake of us. But we don't understands and yells at god. But,later find out that whatever happened was better than we planned.
have a nice day

God never fails me. He never lets me down. While he doesn't give me everything I want, I know that He always listens to my prayers. I always feel Him with me. I am thankful for Him because I know that everything I have in my life is His giving, His generosity. Have faith, my friend. God will always listen to us. While He may not give us exactly what we want, He will always give us exactly what we deserve.
