Yesterday my son is tired because he played with others kids, and didn't want to sleep because he just want to play, walk and jump all around, he is so hyper. So when we arrived at home around 8:30 pm he watched first his favorite barney and friends, he missed it.
Then he requested a milk and lay down at our bed, then suddenly his eyes fell sleep, hahahaha. Tired baby, knocked down, he had a wonderful sleep. 10:30 pm he already sleep and woke up around 11am the next day. Imagine that 12 hours of sleep, hahaha. While waiting for him to wake up I washed my hubby's jersey uniform because they have a game later at 7pm.

How sweet! He must of really needed it. What a terrific day he must of had. I love it when you have such a terrific day that when you get home and go to bed you just crash and so soundly.
My little Yorkie, she is five and just a couple of weeks ago she did the same thing. had a super busy day and then slept for 13 hours. Shocked me but she was happy.

I aim for a minimum of 10 hours per night simply because of the wonderful escape from reality that lucid dreams offer. After years of practice and routines I can now have 6-7 dreams per night and usually control what goes on in them. This makes dreaming a very pleasant alternate reality, and usually keeps me in bed for 10-12 hours per night.
Dreams are gateways to the unknown and I find them much more interesting than this mundane world.

Your son must have been really so tired. It is very uncommon for kids to be sleeping that much. But at least, you were able to do other things while he was asleep.

He drained much his energy that's why he spent 12 hours of sleeping, at least you could do anything while he was sleeping...how i wish i could sleep like that lol...

Children are like that. Once they are their energy are being drained out, they could sleep for very long hours . And it is a good opportunity for you to concentrate on all that you needed to accomplish before he wakes up .

wow he was really tired out from the day! i am sure he needed all that rest and i bet he woke up all hyper and energized and ready to face the day. you even got a little extra time to do some things that you needed to. i would be happy if my kids did that 1 day because i am way behind a lot of things. i am lucky if i get 4 hours of sleep a night. my oldest daughter is afraid she is going to miss something so she hates naps and bed times.
