Tattletales.....

Why do people have to tell on others all the time? There are a few people at my job that just can't help themselves but to tattletale on others and get them into trouble...if it has nothing to do with you then mind your own business. So how's your day going?

There is a line though in this situation missybear. If someone is doing something wrong that has bad consequences then they should be reported. My day has been great. I had a 9am hair appointment and got a great haircut then I picked up a parcel I'd been waiting for and the clothes I ordered are gorgeous. I ran another couple of errands and arrived home to find my builder there with some of my new kitchen. The bench tops are the exact colour I wanted and my new stove is amazing...it would want to be because it was expensive. I'm going on holidays in just over 24 hours and I've been getting excited about everything going on.

That sort of behaviour is just petty and immature.

Sounds like things are going great for you and you're right...it depends on the situation whether you should tell or not but some people just trying to get others in trouble over stupid little things course they just don't get along

My day is going better than yours, I have a day off. If the things that are going on are work related and affect the care of the people you support then they should be reported appropriately. . . otherwise, the drama needs to stay outside the doors. Gossipy drama does not build a work team and it does not make people work well together. The rule should be "mind your business and get to work."

I don't know any adults like this thank God. My kids do it all the time though and even that drives me cookoo! I would not be able to handle adults doing that too!

Some people are just drama queens and/or kings....they tattle on one person, and then the person they've tattled on - they go to that person and tattle on another - and so on, and so forth - until everyone in the office or place of employment is going stir crazy with tattled information! And it's generally useless crap... On the other hand - one of my neighbors keeps putting trash outside two days before pickup day. Along with discarded mattresses! You are supposed to call bulk pickup for the big items - and trash is supposed to be put out only the night before pickup. So I am "tattling" on this neighbor today with the Bureau of Public Works because it's a bug and rodent trap - also - they have a huge fence and gate - wooden sticks that go up very high - so no one can see in the backyard. I don't think I'd want to, lol...the mattresses are probably full of bedbugs or lice or something. but I'll be anonymous when I "tattle".

I think that's a good reason to tattle, I wouldn't wanna look at a bunch of trash for days either

listen to the other person also, because there r 2 sides to a coin $ then only form ur view.this way we can strengthen our relationship with others. it doesnt become boring to us.isnt it?

It's funny that you say that course lots of times one person comes to me complaining about another person and not soon after that person comes to me and complaining about the other....I just listen and nod my head

at work, they probably think they're gonna get brownie points for tattling. often tho they find out the boss doesn't trust them either because of that big mouth..
