Why do you guys have a tendency of neglecting questions that involves mathematics applications(like physics and maths questions)?

Well, I don't, but I think that if you leave out that many letters from the title, some people will avoid it because they find your lack of letters annoying ;-)
But it isn't that easy to make a discussion about mathematics that follow the rules for discussions. Sure, someone has proved that 1+1=2, but discussing it on mylot might not really work :-)

Hey...I try to respond to everything I can find that deals with a math problem!
From a teaching standpoint, it amazes me how many students graduate from high school without ever having to learn the most basic number theory.
I'll try to get in on more math application discussions this week.

I don't enjoy math. I am currently suffering through a 6 week geometry course. I get enough math in my week already.

hello there..Sorry for the delay coz I had my weekend (Friday), Now I'm back to work... I didn't promise you to answer your questions, I told you I will try...anyways I have it but I'm not so good in this topic.
a. Length of the tube of the Microscope
I think this should be given, usually microscopes has 160-200mm reference focal length. At leaset give more data.
L = 160mm (assuming)
b. Magnification:
M = L/F
= 160/20mm
M = 8X
if I will figure out letter a answer, then I will let you know.

I think most people just come here to chit chat about stuff. I'm not that proficient in math, but I would attempt some interesting problems if I come across them!

Why ask a question like this when you can see that most of the people in this place are looking for information that only requires a first-grade level of intellect?
Me, I love maths questions etc, if worded in a logical manner... :) I've seen some posted in myLot and have to wonder, "what the...?"
