My greatest fear is fear itself.I do not know why I am afraid of. I am afraid of wild animals, snake and even domestic animals which are not mine.I am afraid that they will attack me.I know that it won't happen but simply I fear for fear.

Heights is my greatest fear, in particular where the ground seems a long way down and there is nothing between me and it. These barriers they sometimes erect seem flimsy to me all the same. However I have to say that on our recent trip to Western Australia, I walked through the Valley of the Giants although it did take me a long time to go up the walkway. LOL
Also on the same trip, I climbed Wave Rock and again it took a long time. My husband took photos of me on each of them, just so I could prove that I did it.

I certainly was proud of myself Sandy, and one day I might get brave enough again to tackle some other high thing. Actually "the child" offered us tickets to climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge, but that is taking things a little too far for my liking at this time. LOL

My biggest fear is snakes. When i was 4 we had a grass snake out in our back yard and i was out there playing. It had to have been around the end of march or April because the snow had just melted and the ground was thawing anyways i was out there playing and then all of a suden the snake starting comming after me. I know now that it wasn't that big but it looked like it was big enough to eat me and i ran into the house screaming and crying because i thought that the snake was really going to eat me. Ever since then I've been scared of them to the point that if i see one on tv i have nightmears that same night.

The emotion of fear relies on pathways that involve a structure deep in our brains called the amygdala. As the circuitry is being worked out, new clues are finally arising as to how we store information for fearful situations, how memory gets enhanced, how we subconsciously take in information about threat and fear - even though we might not be concentrating on it. New evidence also suggests that phobias may be hitchhiking on the same pathways used by normal fear. Please se a specialist if you think it is serious.

I've always been afraid of spiders. It doesn't matter if they're large or small. Just the thought of one makes me shiver!

My biggest fear is PAIN. I fear to get a wound, I fear to give birth (so, I don't wanna get myself pregnant), I fear anything that can cause pain.
