As was stated last week, the earnings system was going to be under constant adjustment. After watching things over the course of the week, the powers that be have decided to make a major adjustment to it. Effective yesterday, earnings were doubled. That is to say, any activity of yours will have started earning twice as much as of yesterday.
Remember, as always, quality is key. I do not expect everyone to be a spelling expert, a grammar aficionado or a smith of finely crafted pontification. And I want people to have fun and not feel pressured over every word they type. But a single sentence, a cute picture or a top list is not quite what we are looking for either.
So use your best judgement and if in doubt,refer to the guidelines or if still not clear, ask me. I am more than glad to answer any questions and will take as much time as needed to help.

A big wow! I am just thrilled to be back - but to get another perk like this in the first week - I am doing the happy dance! This is a good incentive to draw people back, and the ones that are here, will post more. Now that I am back, I am certainly going to post more. Earning double is the best news I have heard all day. Thank you for that, and have a great day.

Wow ! Thank you for all members who are not grammar aficionados like me. Speaking of guidelines, in the past we had an adult filter and we could start adult discussions. I don't see it anymore and the guidelines are saying that adult content is forbidden now. Is this definitive or will it change in the future ?

Everything is evolving as we go. The adult filter was worked in as part of the old system. When the new one was put in place, it was done so with out. So I cannot be sure how easy such a filter would be to put in place on top of the existing infrastructure. I can certainly suggest it though.

@GoAskAlice Thank you. I realized this only this morning and I had the idea to start an adult discussion since a few days on an historical subject. I can live without adult discussions and this filter is not a priority for me.

@topffer I think that the topic that you wanted to start would be alright, even without the "adult filter". On the other hand, sometimes I really skirt the line of PG-13, so perhaps I am not the right person to make such a suggestion.

This is great news. And I for one love being part of MyLot. I also hope my content is good quality. I try my best to write something that has some meaning or entertainment value. All of us here on MyLot, especially us old timers, appreciate this very much.

@allknowing i saw this under 'suggest.' is 'suggest' the same as 'share' and your friends/connections/followers can see it? i'd like to learn how to use it if someone can explain it.
i guess another way to keep updated is to always check @goaskalice's profile.

Hello there admin, I sure didn't feel a thing because making post makes me think for a bit while. as for quality, i doubt i'd be making more of that soon because I feel like a newbie again after years and years of inactivity I wonder why there aren't much people coming back to this place. anyways, thank you for the double earning. .
