Vivid Dreams

The last two or three days I have been having vivid dreams that are hard to wake up from. I read a post here earlier about myLot being a zoo, and it must have affected me. At the end of my nap I was trying to wake up, but this whole variety of animals kept showing up. Everything, from small birds to sugar gliders to white face cows and a reindeer, etc.
I figure it is the different antihistamine, or myLot, or all those cute animal videos we get to see on FaceBook.
So come on, fess up. Who turned the animals loose on me?

I blame MyLot.
Ihad a weird dream last night with animals, but it was more of a nightmare because I was fighting dinosaurs. It started out with children (I am not clear if these are kids I know or not) with the first egg (The next egg wouldn't show up until the previous dino was taken care of) and when it hatched, they were very excited and kept this dinosaur in a bag-like crate (Picture a dog crate but the material was more like a backpack) and the baby dino was about the size of my dogs or a little bigger, 50-60 pounds. However, their growth was fast, like overnight fast and they outgrew their crate and were now T-Rex size and doing what dinos do, chase and kill people.
I can't remember what happened to the first one, but the second one, and this part was very blurry, but I helped to literally beat this dino up and when he was gone, I saw the third egg and I ran into this building of students (large building, as wide as half of walmart) to warn everyone and I looked out the window to see the third dino coming closer.
So, you think it is MyLot's craziness or perhaps the fact that my last semester starts at the end of the month? Or maybe both..

@Carmelanirel2 And you consider math and science as we know them to be dinosaurs. You are ready for something more user friendly for you

It could be some of both, I guess. MyLot is crazy fun. But you may be worried about school.

@GardenGerty Yes, the crazy dinosaurs of school are going after me.. And it will be a fight, the two subjects are my worse, math and science, so I know it will be a bumpy ride.

I hope that one of them was an owl! I swoop around here from time to time (and often silently). There is also a Lamb (in wolf's clothing) and a couple of bears. @BillKasman is right, it's not a zoo - more of a wildlife park, actually - and definitely a madhouse at times!

@Owlwings I believe you would enjoy all the activity out in the yard, with the trees etc. I have had owls here very close to my front porch. I have lots of lambs as my daughter Sammie Hagar was also my Sammie Lamby. We each have a stuffed bear in the bedroom. I think we all find sanctuary here.

Yeah, in addition to all the animals in my house, there were a bunch outside in my truck. In my dream the police were here due to a complaint because someone was seen messing around with a refrigerator box full of animals in my truck.

I do not know or rather did not come across the post, where it was stated that mylot is a zoo.. Man is a also called an animal albeit 'social animal' so may be someone thought that we are animals in a zoo. . But you need not worry about seeing strange dreams because we all are in the same boat.

I hope our boat is not Noah's Ark. Now I cannot remember who said we are a zoo, but just think, we have @rosekitty and@sconibear and @missybear and @Owlwings, so we must be a zoo.

@GardenGerty - innocent animals or birds's names if used here shows that those who use their names want to give them a kind of recognition on mylot.

It is part of what is called an unusual effect or paradoxical excitation (my favorite phrase from Med Aid class) Usually it is more common in children and the elderly, but I saw my first husband do it once.

@GardenGerty I'm guessing that I'm just not getting down deep enough for dreams. I only seem to dream either last thing in the morning, and waking up before the alarm or with my naps.

I used to have dreams especially this one when I was sick enough to have a fever. It was of a man chasing me across a field. When I was young it really scared me. I have had two bad hits on the head and I think this may be a part of the reason I no longer remember my dreams or do not dream at all. Once in a while I will have a dream and remember parts of it when I wake up. Not very often though.

No one did. LOL. Maybe you are hearing rumors about MyLot. MyLot is the best site to be with actually. I know you are a loyal member of PP and post a lot there. And that is great. I go there also as you know. But, lets look at MyLot as the general of all these sites. The one in command.

@GardenGerty Okay. I am ob the bubble site as well. I have not read one thing about MyLot over there. I have read many posts on PP about MyLot though. Well, either way, I feel MyLot is my number one site. The comes the bubble site than comes the PP site. In that order I guess.

I blame the lamb, seems fitting enough afterall. Lambs seem to be docile, sweet creatures but BAM they turn around on ya so quickly.
On a side note, I've had some vivid dreams myself.

I know you write about your dreams. It was a pretty peaceful dream but I knew I needed to get up and I could not. I knew I was asleep.

@GardenGerty I say unless there is something dire to do, stay in bed.
It seems whenever I am having a particular peaceful dream I get interrupted. I either get woke up or I wake up thinking "oh well I can sleep a little longer" then jolt myself awake because I remember I really can't stay asleep.

@ScribbledAdNauseum That was the problem this morning. I could not wake up, I dreamed I was in my pajamas and robe at my sister's doctor appointment, but I had not picked her up and she was five hours late and I could not wake up to go get her.

Every once in a while I have a very vivid dream and usually when that happens, I wake up with a fever or a major headache. It is kind of interesting how that happens,
