Hi everybody, newbie, returnee, whoever you are...
Anybody who has a little spare time, please go check out the "new user" and "no responses" discussions on the "explore" tab occasionally. I'm sure it would be much appreciated by people who aren't getting the interaction.
Thanks everybody!

I've been hanging out in those tabs today. Wish I could set one of them to my default. The interesting page is neat, but the discussions don't change frequently enough to suit me...
Unfortunately, I'm mostly playing the lurky lou today since the toddler has discovered that the internet is a source of endless entertaining owl videos.

I think that's something I should encourage people to do in my FAQs/Tutorial pages. I have to admit that I don't use those tabs enough myself (and I should do more).

I am not guilty of this.. I respond to most of the new discussions as much as I can except to those I know don't abide by the rules and those about too technical which I don't know how to respond.
However, even though I had been so generous and active to other discussions and I am so keen to respond to most discussions, my personal discussions were not responded too. :( so sad here

Yep! I think that's a very good idea.. I try to remember to do it regularly! Especially the "no responses" discussions.

Hi Dawn, I always make it a point to respond to at least 2 or 3 discussions from no response category and discussions started by new users ...I find I dont get any response or like or any kind of acknowledgement back in most cases, but I am doing it anyway ...all the best and enjoy your day

I ended up deleting one of my discussions that got no responses. It was posted back in 2013, and I just think that the topic wasn't interesting enough to get responses. I have plenty others that have responses, and the other day, one of discussions got revived after a few years. I just couldn't believe it, but it does happen. I have posted in old discussions too, in the hopes they would be revived again. I do check them from time to time, as I realize that the ones who started the discussions, could use help in getting others to respond to them. That is a very good way to help others, and that is what we are here for, is to help others, besides earning of course.

I returned to mylot right now. It is great news that they are paying again. I will do my best to reintegrate here and to help others, too.

and everyone come check my posts, and comment on them, and love me.
Ok, thought it was worth a try, but good advice, let's help out the people who aren't seeing the love here.

It is a good way to help the new members. As for the no responses ones, I guess it does depend on the topic of the discussion. If it is not something I know about, I am usually reluctant to say anything. But for support, I think I can write a few words more or less related to the topic

I have actually always checked those two sections out. That how I meet new members. I like finding discussions before anyone else comments.

I have taken note of your suggestion. I check in between about new users' post and try to respond to them. We are here to help new comers.

Have visited the 'no response', posts, will surely check out the new users, though I myself am no more than 72 hours old on this site!
