Old myLot discussion made me cry.

I did a bad thing. I looked into the past and found my mom. I wrote a post about who I am (or was in 2009) and saw a bunch of folks there... a kitty, a fish, a few dancing gypsies, an eagle as well as a few others..... and my mom. What she said in the past meant a lot then and even more now. She died last year... June 8th. I guess in a way it was healing because..... My response to her was to remind her that we had a lunch date in 11 days.... and my daughter and I have a lunch date to celebrate mom's birthday... in 11 days. I miss her. "gypsywoman344 • @gypsywoman344 (214) • United States24 Jun 09 Tammy you said things well, clear, and justly. " To know, know, know you is to love, love, love you." You are never running luke warm, your hot, and seldom cold. Your straight forward and don't have to run and hide after saying something. What you see is what you get and that's what I LIKE about you. A better, stronger, or more honest person I have never known. That's why I CHOOSE to call you FRIEND. TLChimes • @TLChimes (4328) • United States 24 Jun 09 Since we are singing.... "I got a guy and his name is Duley, he's my guy and I love him truly....He's not good looking Heaven knows, But i'm wild about his Crazy clothes" Love you too, my friend. Red Lobster is just 11 days away." If you are really bored and want to learn more about me... though somethings may be a bit more mature now.... feel free to waste some time here: You may even see you there if you are an old timer.
Me, myself, and I (2-28-07 adapted today) This is an open, non-private letter so that everyone can pre-screen me before becoming my friend. I'm keeping it...

Oh my. I never did comment on that. I don't think we were friends on the old lot. There were so many people. Looking at that list, I am just thinking " I remember you and you and you." It is nice to go look back into the past sometimes, even if it is sad. Sometimes you gotta take the bitter with the sweet. You really had an awesome relationship with your mom.

I did. And I miss her a lot. But this was a much needed hug even if it hurt a little. I bet, when the fresh cut of her being gone has healed a little, this will be a happy bandage for any remaining wound.

I don't have any of my old past MyLot posts. I never left them here. I always thought they would delete them or something, so I deleted them myself years ago. It is sad to read some old posts. I found a site where they archived all or a lot of old MyLot posts. And I found some of mine there .How odd it is to read them now. Your story is sad.

It is sad and kind of comforting. I love what she said to me so it is kind of a hug. I like mental hugs when I can't get the real ones.

@TLChimes I hear that. I agree. Like she was talking to you from beyond. Like she is still around you thinking of you. Well, keep that post. It is a good memory.

Sheesh, a lot has happened since I posted over there. Maybe I should post a new "who I am"...

We all can and then look back in a few years and laugh... or cry.... or Yep, you get it. I updated the original post... taking out a few things and changing just a little thing here.... but who I was then hasn't changed much..... Hmmmmm...... I am a little less tolerant of family members treating other family like crap

You have a testimony of her love. What more can you ask for. Keep reading that post and you will feel good.

I remembered that your mom had been on here, was not sure I remembered who she was. I do not think I will find any thing sad I wrote on here. MyLot did not come into existence until after my sad times. I can think of people I miss, though, but sometimes do not even remember their names. It is good to have this message written just to you.

I was having a rough time during my myLot time because of my son's illness and a few other things but over all it was and is a place to hang out with friends.

You're lucky that you are able to see your moms post in mylot, I can't even get her to be active here long. Now, Im worried that I may forget the good advises she had given me all of those years. She's 60+ and soon will reach 70, I fear of loosing her every passing year. My condolences on your lost.

While it can make one sad to come across things like that, it's nice to have a reminder of the beautiful things your Mom said about you. I lost my Dad last year too, and I wish I had something like that to look back at, but he was never one to show much emotion.

My dad's like that so I get all sentimental about things like a book he sent me for my birthday.... after remembering how much I wanted it even though I didn't ask for it. It was nice to find her words to me..... I think I needed them.
