Why can't we people have discussion on some serious, worthy, useful or on some social topics....???? I observed that we people only discuss on rubbish things that are of no use. Let's start discussing about some interesting and useful topics which can help us enlightening our minds and getting more aware.... SO CAN ANYONE OF US...???

Hi, there is no dearth of topics here, the only thing that works here is popular choice, if members like to take part in a discussion , they do so...it doesn't matter what topic it is...Actually you can think of starting a discussion on a topic that you feel is worthy, useful and interesting...

This is a place I come to relax and more I get to interact that does my day. It is not necessary that we must learn each time we come to a post.

Sometimes people do not put an effort to make something interesting I agree.

I did, on wanting to know if anyone had some feedback on arch supports and all I got was a suggestion to step on those machines at the store. I already know what the problem is, I was wanting to know if anyone had a suggestion on which support is good.

The better to weed out obvious plagiarists when they draw attention to themselves with discussions like this.

It is true that there are some rubbish discussions. I have seen "discussions" that consist of a headline and a smiley. There is nothing useful or interesting about that. I don't think that the rest of the discussions are rubbish, You might not find the topics interesting, but that doesn't mean that other people aren't going to find them interesting. We are all different. We have different thoughts and interests and our cultures are different as well. If you don't like the topics that other members have chosen you can always start your own discussions about topics that you find interesting

I like the fun discussions but also the important topics or the ones that make you think. I tried to respond to a few I've seen started but they don't last long. Start a few, suggest them to me, and we will see if we can start a trend.

This site seems to have lots of posts that are discussion worthy. Many of them are old and the writers are no longer here (but hopefully will return). However, I find that there is no lack of interesting topics to choose from. I am doing my best to generate discussion but confess that I'm not always sure what to talk about. I'll try harder. No promises. I'm kind of boring.

Different people find different topics interesting. If a discussion is getting comments, then obviously there are people who like the topic.

Precisely. We can't control what's on the mind of people and which topics they should like.
