Which is the one thing you really want in your life?

Wow, what a tough question. Peace is a good answer, and yes, I like to have peace in my life also. However if I have to pick one. I would have to say 'fulfillment'. Which I guess falls in the same category, depending how you look at it.

I would like my whole family to get together. We are scattered all over. Some are in the US, some in australia and many in various parts of India. Some are aged. This indeed is a far fetched dream. But nothing is impossible.

I am actually very happy in my life..I am fine, all my children and grandchildren live close and i am happier now than i ever was. Now that i'm retired i don't have to get up to work, i can relax and do whatever i want...In that way alone i am at peace. I come from the 60's where we always asked for peace, but as you can see, it hasn't really happened...so i live quietly as always, since i've done my share of protesting even keeping a low profile. One thing though..I wish people treated others as they would want to be treated!..Not enough Love

I wish to be content in my life and with those around me. I wish to make others happy and healthy. I wish my son had a better quality of life. I wish that everyday wasn't a struggle... just a few off every now and then would be nice. I really really wish I could see my dad before I no longer have a chance.

Probably being happy , content with what I have and be able to have love in my life. not much else is needed

Yes, that's what i like too . If there is peace in our hearts we can always sleep fitfully at night .

@sofssu What you said is exactly correct .. For example if a person leads a life with sufficient money , people , friends , clothes , vehicles but not with peace .. means he loses something important .. I also prefer the most is Peace ! ! !

I think I already told you in one other discussion that I seek to be an engineer.

Peace is good answer for your question. I would seek satisfaction in terms of work , happiness , family , study , childhood and adulthood.

I think satisfaction is the ultimate thing that one wants in one's life.It may be physical,social,physiological etc.It may differ from person to person.It may depend on situation,preference in life etc. But ultimately it's satisfaction that makes one's desires complete.
