Just got done with a post with Irish...@1wldngl.... about her long ago boyfriend and How he got in trouble with his wonderful smile. I think smiles are maybe the first thing i look for in a person whether female or male, besides their hands..Nothing is better than hands..don't get me started..yummm So now sweet friends and new ones, What is the One thing you look for when you see someone, whether they are a loved one or not?

I look at ears and earrings since the day I have had a dispute with a girl about an earring. She was sure to have lost a large earring in old silver when we were doing an immoral act in my car. It was not in my car but she never believed it. I am a very sensitive person and it disturbed me. If a woman has too large earrings, I stay away. You see how an earring can change a life dramatically!

In the late 1980s and 1990s when India used to play cricket games at Sharjah, there was one commentator who always made it a point to mention Earrings, and as this tournament became a yearly thing, the cameramen became aware. So every time this guy would be in the commentator's box, they would lure him by focusing on someone or the other with earrings in the stadium.

@Rosekitty Thank you for the brownie. This girl had short hairs and looong earrings that belonged to her grandmother. Would you go on a backseat with a boy with the earrings of your grandmother?

I can read the eyes and feel the vibes. I had mentioned on one of my earlier discussions too that there is some strange connection that I can feel - good or bad - depends on the eyes and the vibes. And as far as hands go, I have very soft palms and fingers. Many keep telling me that I have hands of a girl

Eyes. I often wish loved ones "a smile that makes your eyes laugh" and boy, does it ever make me happy when I see that. You can see so much in someone's eyes...... self esteem, pain, love, understanding.....

I like the eyes. In fact the twinkle in his blue eyes is one of the first things I noticed. He looks truly happy. Some people look sad, nervous or afraid, and it often is all in their eyes.

For me it's gotta be the eyes, or just the face in general. Long ago I had a friend who always judged guys by their teeth. When we would talk about boys her first comment was always "He has nice teeth". She's now married and you can bet her husband has nice teeth!

I just read your comment about soft hands having a warm heart. What about o those hands that toil the day through? There is one thing said about a handshake. If it is a firm one then that person has character. So I remember to do that I too look for a smile but not a grin though

@allknowing...I don't shake hands with anyone anymore because years of using my hands and wrists as a waitress, carrying heavy trays and cleaning houses took a toil on me and now my wrists and thumbs have arthritis....so if i don't shake hands i tell people about that and anyway i'm more of a hugger..

The 1st thing I look at in a person, is their eyes. To me the eyes tell a lot about a person. They can even smile with their eyes (it's true, ask Tyra Banks).

I think it is the face. I read the face and also sense peoples' mood whatever they are showing on the outside. I just look for feeling safe and comfortable around the person. Of course a smile helps

I always look at their eyes.. eyes speak a lot about the person.. I guess as the cliched saying goes eyes are the window to the soul.

After the figure (or whatever) I look at the eyes. These days I can't afford to take too much notice of shape or figure because I'm not well-proportioned in any sense of the word. Bent pear on matchsticks. I can still do Father Christmas, though, when sitting down.

First thing I look at when noticing someone for the first time is their eyes. A persons eyes can tell you more things about a person when they do not speak.

I think the face is a magnet really. Once you see a pretty face it is mesmerizing. Then you start to notice other parts of the person.
