Okay, I know that I have friends and connections that do not eat meat, or do not eat pork. If that is the case you probably do not want to read this discussion.
For the rest of you I want to boast about the pork loin roast hubby cooked outside in the smoker. It was tender and moist and flavorful. We ate a baked potato, baked beans and sauerkraut with it. It was delicious.
I am glad hubby can cook.

I learned to cook because I was bored with what I grew up on. It is not that my mom, or dad did not cook, but it was always the same thing.

Oh, how sad. My first husband did not cook, but he did once make mac and cheese and hot dogs and green beans for me. Only time he ever cooked for me. He is deceased. @Finlander60 loves to cook.

That sounds great! .. a cooking husband sounds not bad at all too.. My son is really into smoking so we get some benefit from that!

We are trying to save money and empty out the refrigerator and freezer before we move. We ate out at lunch and that was fattening enough.

It was quite tasty and now we get to have left overs until it is all gone.
