Mountain or Beach Living?

I have lived in the mountains and near the beach. For me, I do prefer the mountains. Maybe because I grew up playing in the woods. Games like hide-and-seek and tag. Building forts, using our childhood imaginations to make it our own special place.
As a child, I loved hiking in the woods. Skating on our pond on a clear winter night. I can close my eyes and feel the cold on my face as I glide on the ice. Seeing the outline of the mountains, stars shining so bright. Snow covered rolling hills, I am in awe of it all.

permit me to share, here in the philippines - the climate is so good moreover in the mountainside places or in it but be sure you have a ride for you to access the countryside. I do not know what is it when we say mountain living in there, I presumed it is not that isolated.
But I must add, there are places here that are mountains are being flattened for the constructions in the growing cities :)

I would prefer living near the beach even though I am not a good swimmer. There's something about mountains that I don't like but it's cool if I go mountain hiking once or twice. But anytime I get the chance, I'd rather go to the beach.

I'd like to live by the beach. I could visit the mountains, but wouldn't want to live there.
