Topaz57 @Susan2015 My oldest daughter was 11 and was in charge of our 8 & 4 year old at the time. It depends on the maturity of the child. Also, why was the teen coming into the home? Where were his parents?

Topaz57 A lot of people teach their children how to use guns at an early age. We never had a gun in the home raising our children, but we live in an area where people hunt and many own guns. This boy obviously knew how to use the gun and was able to protect himself....
