Samsung's bedtime sensor can turn off the TV when you nod off

The new Samsung SleepSense can monitor your sleeping habits, and communicate with connected appliances
Looks like this is something i'd love to have since i usually fall asleep to the tv on and then have to wake up to turn it off..you place Samsung's new sensor under the mattress
As you lie down in bed, SleepSense can measures your breathing, heart rate, and movement in real time, all without directly touching your body. Samsung claims you'll receive a sleep score and data in the morning that is accurate up to 97%, delivered through an app on your Android smartphone or iPhone.
SleepSense can communicate with compatible networked devices in the house: your television, audio system, thermostat
If you nod off while watching a late night movie, the sensor can detect that and turn the TV off automatically. If it's stuffy in your bedroom, maybe your AC cranks it up. And in the morning once you wake up, the lights will automatically turn on, your curtains will rise, and the coffee maker will start.
Who else is ready for this???

@Rosekitty We do not even have a TV in our bedroom. My husband is sensitive to electronic and electric device, he gets headaches and cannot sleep.

@Rosekitty Mostly all TV's now come with either a timer or just automatically shut off after awhile. I always liked that feature.

I wonder how it does work in detail. You only said that the sensor somehow knows that you fall asleep but I don't understand exactly how it does that.
