Vegan's World

Being vegan is something different in our world. It's something innovative, and new. It might seem strange for some people who have never heard about it. To be vegan means you don't eat and use any products from animals like meat, dairy, honey and eggs. I became vegan few months ago and it's been great. There are many benefits to being a vegan. Seriously think about it, living cruelty free life, saving the earth from destruction and eating healthier. After being vegan for a few months, I feel much better physically, I even lost some weight and my skin looks better. I hope you think about it and make your own decision.

Actually it isn't all that new! I tried going vegetarian many years ago. As that didn't go over so well, I doubt that I could ever become vegan!

I am very picky about the meats that I do eat. As I don't eat much of it. However, I like dairy and the products you can make from it. I also love eggs mixed with veggies.

i know what vegan is, but I haven't gone that route yet. I know that I should, but I am just so urse to eating eggs, cheese, drinking mik and eating meat, however I don't eat a lot of meat. Becoming vegan is a process like anything else, and you work your way up to it gradually. I may become vegan one of these days.

I am not a vegan but I do have a month or a week where I try to just eat vegetarian foods and no meat. There is not a lot choice for Vegan foods in restaurants which is a shame.

good for you!!! i have been a vegetarian for about 2 years, and i am mostly vegan at home, sometimes eating cheese/eggs when im out at a restaurant or at someones house. i would love to go vegan full-time, that is the goal. its difficult but worth it. those animals dont deserve the torture. the really tough thing is how all the meat-eaters around me act when they find out. some are supportive but some are not and i find it really offensive that they would try to push something on me or make fun of what im doing when it is better for the environment and eating meat is supporting extreme animal cruelty. i understand the place of denial they come from, as i obviously just recently became vegetarian, but to be so bully-ish about it.... its hard to deal with sometimes

Although the word vegan is new to me the things that you don't eat any products from animals like meat, dairy, honey and eggs I haven't heard of either. Is it a type of religion? Or is it just you don't eat the above mentioned foods?

I've read a lot about the benefits of being vegan. I actually haven't thought about being one but it does sound interesting. Plus people have come up with so many great vegan recipes so you can be a vegan and still enjoy good food!
