"Live your life. Take chances, Be crazy. Don't wait. Because right now is the oldest you've ever been and the youngest you'll be ever again."
Have you heard that before?
If so what is your response and how do you feel about it?
I try to live like this is my last day and everyone knows how crazy i am

I also try to do the best I can with the time I have. I am never ungrateful for anything and that is one of the things that keeps me going.
I am more crazy than even I know.

Haven't heard of that but I have heard about living your life to the fullest and living like there's no tomorrow.
I mostly live my life to the fullest but back when i was younger I believe I wasted a lot of time not doing anything in my life. Now I'm as bold as I can be but not too crazy as I'd want to yet...

Sometimes you don't have to do anything crazy to be crazy and sometimes living life to the full means sitting quietly and listening to the rain. And if you never learn math, you will find it impossible to discover just how old you are.

They have two words for me and when I looked them up across dictionaries I found them quite apt for me - insane and weird.
On personal levels, I have always been ruled by my heart - and I follow what my heart tells me - if I want to get drenched in the rain, I will. If I want to float my paper boats in the poodles of water I will. I never had any inhibitions of what others will think. As long as I know, my actions will not harm anyone, and I will enjoy this moment - I will go for it.
A few days back - 7th Sept to be precise, I was shampooing my hair in the rains at morning 3:00 am. (you may consider this an act of insanity or even may be weirdness) - but that is how I am in real life - most of the days when I am not depressed or gloomy - I enjoy every moment.

People always say I am crazy, not in the way living the fullest or doing really crazy things, but a crazy mind, that thinks outside of the box and from every perspective that I can think of. But If I had enough money I'd be doing all kinds of crazy things all over the world and living life to it's fullest!

@Rosekitty I agree! I like to see all possibilities that I can think of, and I know there's a lot of people that don't do that like me, I can clearly see the difference in our way of living and doing things.

Some days that saying would make me feel really good. Somehow, today I keep reading that last sentence wrong ("... right now is the oldest you'll ever be..." and I don't want to see that. I guess that it has something to do with the rain today or something I had for dinner last night. It couldn't be because I got out of the wrong side of the bed - or maybe it is (there's a wall on one side).
Ah well ... "Rainy days and ... er ... Tuesdays ..."!

Your view is correct, but certain occasions demand us to postpone our favorite activities. Now I am a government employee and I have some restrictions. Once retired, I will revive my childhood desires.

I'm unintentionally crazy. Which means I tried for years to be "normal", but wasn't having fun. Then I just let my brain take over (dangerous for all involved) and realized there's a whole world of people who will never fit in anywhere else. And in our collective misery, self loathing, and neurotic outbursts, we are more a family than our real ones! lol

Sanity is very subjective to be honest. I'm sure some people look at what I do and say "well, you're out of your mind, aren't you?" And perhaps I'm out of my mind. To be in my mind is a far more scarier event than to be out of my mind. At least in my opinion. I could be wrong.
Perhaps this day could be my last day. But if this is my last day, I'm going to live it like my best day. Let's go out with a bang, and not with a whimper. At least people will remember where I end up in the end.
