Toilet Paper - Over or Under?

Ok, so I just went into the bathroom and I found the most stressful moment in bathroom history, aside of course from being completely out of toilet paper, awaiting me. The roll sat empty. Absolutely nothing left on it to use as a guide. I'm left wondering, which one of my inconsiderate children has put me in this position. It is now up to me to decide if it goes over or under? If I choose wrong, everyone will complain about the last person who put the roll on. I don't know about you, but I don't want it to be me. So, sometimes I get a new roll and just set it atop the holder for someone else to deal with. The rule should be that the last person to use it should replace it, but that never seems to happen. So is it over or under?

Over. Unless you're my toddler. Then it's just "off the roll and onto the floor, so have fun re-rolling it, Mom."

Over. There is no debate. Over is the correct way, because I said so.

@yukimori No wonder they do such things as put tissue in cardboard boxes with colorful scenes. They sell it like a play toy. First you pull one out and look another one appears. Pull another. It is like magic. And they make such soft pretty piles.

@Bluedoll It didn't help that the infant room she was in at the daycare actually had a baby wipe box filled with small silk scarves. No, I don't wonder why she pulls all of the baby wipes out of the boxes at home...

Oh, it rolls beautifully. You grab the loose end, then launch the rolled part across the floor. It's even better if you're lucky enough to have stairs to roll it down... My toddler has mastered the art of rolling toilet paper. I have to keep it under lock and key now thanks to her.

I think I am a bit OCD about this, the roll always has to go over. If someone else in the house changes a roll and it's put under, I will change it out.

Always under, Unless you're at Burning Man. Then it's moist towelettes and the lyric sheet to some crappy indie band.

Well now, I'm happy with it just sitting there on the floor or somewhere else that's easy to access.

I always hang toilet paper over. I just think it is the proper way to hang it.

I have always kept two rolls of toilet paper--minimum--in the bathroom. End of problem!
