How long does it take you to get to work? What time do you get up to get to work on time?

I usually take about 15 minutes to get to work, as far as distance I have no clue LOL Ive tried to figure that out before but I always get distracted. I know on a good day with less traffic I can make it there in ten minutes. Im usually late every other day too but Im in management so it's ok :]

being in charge has it's advantages. The traffic causes a lot of problems in our area as well. That is one of the reasons why I don't want to work outside of the home. I would lose a lot more time from my kids and husband because of the traffic.

I get up at 6 am. But that is because after I get ready I have to get both of my kids up and ready. Then I have to take them to the sitter's house. It only takes me 10 minutes to drive to work. I am very thankfull for that. There are jobs a lot further away that pay quite a bit more money, but I would never consider that, because time with my children is worth a lot more to me.

Wouldn't it be nice to come across one of the stay at home jobs so you could make the money you need and be able to have more free time with your kids? I know I would? Thanks for the response.

I work at home...so the travel time from my bedroom to my office is about 45 seconds :) I love it! I will never go back to a 9-5er again! www.workwithcoastal.com

I am hoping to do that as soon as I come across a good one. Are you able to share the job you have? That would be wonderful to get out of bed walk across the room and waalaah the money is rolling along.

well I usually go to work when I finish classes for the day so work and school for me are about 45 minutes to an hour away from home. I get up at 7am to get ready for school and work and I leave the house between 730am and 8am. the rest is up to nature and traffic

You are traveling quite a bit it sounds. The nature and traffic complicate things a great deal. Hope you get an easier lifestyle soon.

Good for you. That lead foot could get you in trouble though. Best watch out. What type of work do you do?

I travel 28 kms from my home to business place and in peak hours it takes 1 hour 15 minutes to reach. Though it is a highway, it is full of traffic of office goers and trucks. In the night I come back by 9.30 p.m. and not much of traffic, so it is 1 hour drive.

That isn't bad at all. I thought for sure people would be traveling alot further. My husband gets up at 4am leaves the house by 5 and drives an hour to work and depending on traffic it could take him hours to get home. He's wondering if it's worth the money. There are no closer jobs he could get right now. Not for what his skills are in. We don't want to move closer because of the traffic in the city.

If you are interested in a home business. You can take a look at mine. It is marketing travel packages. All work is done over the phone & online. No cold calling – simple to do. Its called Coastal Vacations & it has been in business for over 12 years & even offers health insurance to its members. This is not a job – it would be your own business. What you put into – you will get out of it. The commissions are incredible – nothing less than $1,000 Every transaction. Check out my website for details www.workwithcoastal.com
