I Am Not Superstitious, But...

Yesterday I was excited at the idea to assist at the first super moon eclipse in 32 years.
Eclipses have been seen, from centuries, as anticipation of catastrophic events.
I do not believe to those rumors, I was glad to be able to watch the phenomenon.
First thing going wrong, around 7 pm, the sky becomes cloudy and it gets darker and darker. It seems we are not going to see the super moon.
After watching a movie, we go upstairs to go to sleep. I turn on the bedside lamp... the bulb explodes!
I go down two flights of stairs, to take a new bulb in the basement. One of the downstairs bulb goes off.
Back to the bedroom, I replace the bulb, it flickers for a few seconds goes off.
In the meantime I hear that my cell phone needs to be recharged, weird I already did it the day before.
I had enough of weird things happening. I put another lamp on the nightstand, read a few pages of a book trying to forget about those events.
I do not know what to think.
This is the first time something like this happens, but we live in this house from only 15 years, so we missed the previous eclipse.

The phenomena is global and so its effect will not be localised just in your house. They are all coincidences.

@LadyDuck These kind of things happen even when there is no blood moon

@LadyDuck Strange happenings indeed. Perhaps it had some connection, who knows? I didn't get to see the blood moon. Early this morning though the oddest thing happened that at around 6 AM it gets lighter and lighter. This morning by 7 AM it was still pitch black and then the rain started coming pouring down real heavy. It stopped about 9 AM and the sun came out.

Sorry those freaky things happened to you. They always said crazy things can happen on a full moon night. I got to watch the eclipse for a little bit but couldn't stay up long enough i was tired. But it was pretty cool from what I did see.

We didn't see it either - too cloudy. Sorry about the other weird things that happened to you - just coincidence I'm sure!

@AbbyGreenhill Yes, I would have searched the reason, but I would have surely thought it was strange.

@LadyDuck if they hadn't been the blood moon would you have thought it was strange?

If I could have just seen the blood moon I would have gotten some of my energy back. But it was covered by clouds. I did see it eclipse all the way to the end just before it was swallowed. If the clouds delayed by 20 minutes I could have seen the red.

@LadyDuck Well, 2033 is the next supermoon full eclipse. But I don't know where that will be visible. The next blood moon that I will get to see in this region is January 21/22, 2019.

That would certainly be scary. And, then to have it happen again. Ikes! I usually watch for things to happen in threes.

Part of me is saying that it was just a fluke, but another part of me is saying that something was definitely up. I am probably getting this from my super superstitious grandmother. The stories that my mom has told me would curl your hair lol!!
