That's more or less my feeling too. If there are good conversations here, I won't be motivated to write there, especially if they still haven't paid at least part (the 2015 part) of what they owe their writers.

I am certain you mean Bubblews for I've seen you there. Just give it a try here. It is not giving as much as what Bubblews used to give but I am certain Mylot does pay.

What Bubblews used to pay (when they decided to pay what they owed) wasn't sustainable. As long as there's honesty and transparency, I'll be happy.

@TheHorse This applies to everyone when they enrol in a new site and will happen again if you eventually move elsewhere. Of course the learning curve is soon over, especially after being accustomed to other sites.

@Asylum I haven't changed my strategy here much since I started. Except that I've learned that there are certain subjects I like to write about (American sports, in particular) that garner no interest here. Have you changed your strategies as you've learned more about this site?

The aim is simply to write something that spurs response and discussion. It can be controversial but it doesn't have to be. Read the guidelines, you'll find what you need to know there. Welcome. Everyone who's come over is pretty happy here.

@TheHorse There is always something to talk about here on MyLot and there are only a few times that it really gets slow but even that I am sure will pick back up as time goes on. For the most part everyone is active and interacts there are only a few that just post and post and forget to interact. Good luck to you

Something I want to know about--I like that. Maybe someone will be able to explain to me why baby fence lizards aren't afraid of people but older ones are. I think I have more questions than answers. Or, to put it differently: Every answer brings up more questions!

@bookbar I did not know that you also missed the payment. Many of those who migrated here missed the payment. After the big loss of last November, I only redeemed in December 2014. Now I have more or less 39$ left on my account, I believe that it's not worth trying to reach the 50.

@TheHorse It has happened before! I pulled up one thread from three years ago. It had 0 responses and 0 comments. After I finished commenting to the people talking to me about my original response, I think the count was somewhere in the 30 responses range with over 200 comments. It can be done, but that doesn't mean it will happen, though. How was your day today?
