The Early Bird Catches The Worm

Well, I haven't seen a worm this morning but I've been up since 4am. For some reason, I didn't sleep very good last night and when 4am rolled around, I just went ahead and got up. It's not too far off my normal routine as I am usually up between 5am to 5:30am. Now, I am browsing through myLot, drinking my coffee and trying to keep Bella from waking Daisy up. I am hoping that I can catch up a little on notifications before Daisy gets up and I become a little distracted. I haven't worked since 2009 so getting up early isn't a big deal, even on a Saturday. All days seem to blend into one. What time do you usually get up during the week? Do you sleep in on the weekends?

I am usually up early too although this morning I managed to have a lie in until around 7. I did wake up at 5 but I refused to get up and thankfully nodded off again! Have a great day and enjoy your coffee.

I am retired so my time is pretty much my own. I go to bed when I am tired and get up when I wake up. The earliest that I can go to bed and stand a chance of getting to sleep is around 2 am but have often crawled into bed around 7 am. I usually get up between 9:30 and 11:30 am I like to get at least 6 hours of sleep in. As for sleeping in at the weekends the days are all the same with out outside constraints.

@Marcyaz I am usually in bed around 11pm and can fall asleep easily. It's staying asleep that is the problem.

My schedule varies a little everyday. There are 2 days a week I go into work an hour late, so I wake up at 7 those days. The other days I am up at 6. Saturdays my boys have soccer at 9am so I'm up at 7. Sundays I don't usually have to get up early so I sleep until I feel like waking up.

Our usual wake up is 5 on workdays. Whenever on weekends, but I tend to still wake up at 5. 6:30, for instance, is late for me.

That would be the same for me. There have been days lately when I would have like to have stayed in the bed just a little longer but I have to get Daisy up to potty.

I usually get up between 5:30- 6:00 everyday. The weekends don't really mean much to me, since I don't work outside the home.

I don't usually go to bed till the time you were getting up today! Being retired like you, I go to bed when I like, and 4am suits me. I don't get up till 10/11am.

I think @GreatMartin has a schedule close to yours. I really wish I could stay up later but even if I could, Daisy wouldn't let me.

I wish I could take my coffee back to bed with me but Daisy is usually up around 5-6am so even if I could sleep in, I can't as I have to let both her and Bella out to potty.

I usually get up around 7, but when it's the weekend, I tuck in till 8. Sometimes it can be 9 too if I had been awake for too long the night before.
