Have you ever tried to write a poem?

If so, do you think you succeeded? And was it a formal poem - rhyming or otherwise - or was it what is sometimes termed "free verse"? If you have tried both, which did you find easier and/or more satisfying to write?

Brit Took a poetry class one time and we had to write both, rhyming and free verse. I personally found rhyming easier. I think thats because when I think of poetry, I think of rhyming.
