Brrrrr....I woke up this morning with my toes freezing. Gosh the temperatures dipped so low during the night that I was actually cold. I got up and put an extra blanket on the bed but I probably should have added a pair of socks to my feet.
Once I brewed the coffee I realized that I had to give in and turn on the heat. Urrr I just think it's too early to have to put the heat on but it was just too damp and raw in the house. So, I put it on just to get the chill out of the house.
The day didn't get any warmer so my heat has been on all day.
In addition I've added socks & slippers plus a sweatshirt. Guess winter is early to arrive and I'm barely ready to give up my summer clothes.
Buh bye flip flops :(

I try to hold off of turning on the heat in the fall. I wear the thicker onesie I sewed for myself and just drink tea until the colder temperatures are more permanent.

Usually I hold off and don't turn on the heat until later in the month but it was just too cold. It actually felt like the middle of winter

Ok, that sounded way too cold for my taste, it's somewhat chilly in the morns here but we're still in the 80s and 90s for a while, I'm prayin it stays in the 70s in December and hopefully January and February won't dip below the 40s at night. bbbbrrrr, I've still got goose bumps thinkin how cold it must be there.

I don't like the sound of that. Luckily we are still having nice fall weather

I will miss the fun of summer, but I so love the cooler temps of the fall. Hope you stay warm and comfy!

I always wear socks to bed. The dampness does make it seem colder. I can feel it when it's damp here and that's a lot of the time.
