Sandy Elise There used to be six people in my house so the dishes have never taken only minutes to do, but I still prefer hand washing my dishes before the dishwasher.

Sandy Elise I like being able to scrutinize the dish to make sure I get it completely clean instead of just hoping the dishwasher knocks then food or residue off.

Sandy Elise I think that's why I hand wash the dishes first. I don't trust cleaning solely by dishwasher.

Sandy Elise We didn't have a dishwasher until I was in my late teens. We hated having to wash dishes by hand so my brothers and sisters and I saved up to buy a dishwasher ourselves. :-)

Sandy Elise I need to invest in some covers so my dog can at least get on my couches in the den. My dog can't sleep with me because she hogs the bed and I end up sleeping in a cramped corner all night. But I allow her to sleep on my bed during the day.

Sandy Elise Yeah, I don't allow my dog on furniture company might use. They might have a problem sitting in any dander my dog has. And it's a lot easier to vacuum the floor where she lays than nooks and crannies in the couch
