@shubho666,I have been a book lover since my adolescence.Have read a lot of books, but the best of them has been the Ramayan.I have read 'ShriRamcharitmanas' by Tulsidas and now am reading Valmiki's Ramayan, the Hindi translation of the epic in Sanskrit.Ramayan has become an indispensable part of my life.

@shubho666 The first one i have read was The Pelican Brief , on which i saw the movie first , starring i think Julia Roberts ? I found out that it's better to first read the book before watching the movie , as was the case with the Trilogy of the Lord of the Rings .

@SIMPLYD of course.i think the same..film sometimes ruins the book...but LOTR trilogy was quite good...i liked the war sequence...it was pretty much as same as the book..

Crime and Punishment by Dostoyevsky is my all time favourite, but there are many in second place. What's yours?
