No One is Ever Busy

Last Friday, one of my closest friend informed me that she will be going to the mall that is just few bus stops from our office. She do not deliberately asked me to see her, she just told me that she misses the mall.
If you are really a friend for a long time, you can read between the lines. So after my work, I hurriedly went down to the mall and see her. I have a scheduled chores to do at home, I called my husband to tell him that I need to move my schedule and I need to attend a “Best friend duty”. Haha. My friend and I spent 6 hours of non-stop chatting.
No one is ever busy, it is a matter of PRIORITIES. I love my friends a lot. Facebook, sms and call cannot suffice the face to face conversation. Do you agree?

You sound like a great friend!
I agree completely! My friends and I chat online all the time, but nothing compares to having them over to hang out or having a group outing. Technology is great to facilitate communication at all times but, nothing will beat live human interaction.

Totally agree. Some people are just not so straightforward but if you know them, you can tell what they mean when they say something. Glad you two enjoyed the bonding time.

@wiLLmaH Yeah I have 4-5 close friends, we understand each other very well but we're pretty straightforward with each other anyway. So there's hardly any need to decipher hidden messages.

That was very nice of you. I am glad your hubby was understanding. Sometimes we just have to make time for our friends and even our family.

I do agree.
This world is lost in texts, messages, and social online.
But there is nothing better than human interaction.
So glad you got to meet your friend at the mall.
I also miss the mall I used to work in.

I hate the mall and would rather meet anywhere else in the world. I'm glad you enjoyed the long chat, you are a kind friend.

I think the culture is different.
For many of us, we will make appointment so that we can reschedule everything else, and just spend the time with our friend.
We will not let our friends guess between the line.
We will say that we have the afternoon free, so meet at this time at this place.

Good for you to hang out now with your friend and lucky you to have understand it by your husband. We were also like that with my friends sometimes we last chatting till dawn, sharing our problems, reminiscing, recalling our sweet memories in the past and everything to talk about.
Time isn't enough when we see each other. To be with friends is precious moments that is worth remembering.
