Are you a goose?

A discussion by Fiacre Banks about cooking a goose for Christmas reminded me of something my husband used to tell me.
He said, "Vicki, you're like a goose. You wake up in a new world every day." He wasn't being rude and I took no offense.
Being a goose has its advantages. I don't hold a grudge because the next day I've forgotten what I was upset about.

I love that verse in Corinthians. Just wish I could keep all the others as well!

I just hope being a goose isn't a precursor to dementia.

We had a family of geese one time at our pond. My husband named them Romeo and Juliette. When they had a baby goose, he named him "Art." Get it? As in "where for art thou?"

Wonder which is better: a chicken or a goose? Oh well, great to see you here, too, Dianne!

I got lost. I would be sitting at the table looking at him then at you then at him then at you and smiling. But what does it mean. I have no idea. Never had a goose. Always has been turkey, ham or one or the either. It has something to do with migration?
