Went for a job interview
I went for a job interview today at the post office (Royal Mail). The job is only until Christmas but at least it could be work if I get the job, fingers crossed.
I personally hate interviews, I was so nervous. I’ve not been to many interviews in my working lift time with working for the same company from so many years.
Well fingers crossed, just have to wait now to hear from them.

@Marcyaz Totally and I hope I get the job, it would be nice although it won't last for long :( It's not a job I would normally like to do but it's work.

Yeah I know, I went to one place for a night work and ended up there for 27 years, that was one long night for sure lol.

Hope it works out for you. The Postal Service here has had it's troubles. I know a lady who worked for them and it was on a rural route. She drove her own car, and the wear and tear on it was not worth the hassle of the job. Not to mention the wear and tear on body from the way she had to drive during the route, being that it wasn't a car with steering on the left side.

@kevin1877uk The area I live in doesn't seem to have much trouble but I've also heard about some areas considering doing away with Saturday mail service.
Sorting mail seems like a straight forward enough job, if not a bit monotonous. Hopefully you will get it.

Hi Kevin. I hope you remembered the cardinal rules of going for a job interview. Here's the top 3, to me:
1. Never say anything negative about your previous workplace
2. Do not sell yourself more than what the job description requires
3. Always wear a tie. Ties cover up many flaws.
