What is your favorite movie of all time and why? Why does this particular movie stand out from all of the others? Would you recommend it for others to see?

I really like too many to name just one. They are, as follows:
The Boondock Saints
Tank Girl
Vanilla Sky
Donnie Darko
What Dreams May Come
May
These are all very good movies, check them out if you get the chance. Especially Boondock Saints and Donnie Darko.

I love Boondock Saints, Gladiator, (I agree that the Imitation of Life with Lana Turner was great), And The Color Purple

Oh my goodness! When I seen this movie it gave me a good belly aching, cheek hurting laugh. I think I may have even dropped a few pound laughing at that movie. It was silly as heck, and they were the ugliest "girls" I ever laid eyes on! Thanks for this comment, I almost forgot about that movie, that is a must see if you need a good laugh!

Well my favourite movie is Troy starred by Brad Pitt.i think that is because it is beautifully directed and is the best ever acting by Brad Pitt.Yes others should surely watch that movie.i watched that movie 5times on cinemas and now on my DVD player i have watched it infinite number of times.One other movie i love to watch is Notting hill...watch that as well.One other action movie is Terminator-2(Judgement Day).

my favourite movie of all times happens to be "The Glaidator". I really love the way RusselCrow has shown up in the movie.
