do you accept every friendship request?

I don't do that on Facebook - I only accept people that I know in person (well, there were a couple exceptions, but I knew them from other sites for a while to know they are trustworthy).

Definitely not. The contacts I have on FB are mostly the ones I know in person. I don't accept requests from people that I don't know or don't intend to keep in touch with.

I used to, then this guy became kind of a stalker. Now I am more picky.

On facebook I accept only those recommended by friends and known people..

I usually do accept all friends requests, as i feel the more friends I have the more interaction and the more money, however, it doesn't always hold true, as some just don't interact like they should. I am finding too, that the more frends I have, the more suggestions I get, and that is fine to a pont, but I am gettting way to many suggestions, as most of them don't relate to me or I am just not interested in responding to them.

I don't accept unless he/she is a real life friend otherwise I ignore requests.

My FB account is on Private . I don't get friend requests . I can see some suggestions though about somebody that 5 mutual friends have . It has to be who should request for a friend request so we can be connected .

No, I don't, if I haven't seen you in years, why start now?When you let people on your page, they are officially in your business with your photos. etc. Don't feel obligated to put anyone on your page.

If there is friend request I always add. Most of them are my students. Now I have 3,300 friends

Before I used to accept everyone but later on I realized it's not good at all so I randomly accept some of them.

I do not accept friends' request from unknown people. I have strict privacy setting on my FB account, so I do not receive unwanted requests. I love to connect with mylot friends through FB and there are some friends who know me or whom I know through mylot.

I also have many friends on facebook. When I first joined facebook, I accepted every friend request. There are even times that I added those suggested by my friends. Now, I am very careful with friend requests. I only accepted those that I know. There were times that I unfriended those whom I do not know.

Honestly, I´m not quite active on Facebook and my only closest relative with an account there doesn´t use it often. So, you can guess I don´t get a lot of random request. Of course, I like making new friends, but at least, I try to chat or send a message asking where do they know me from, before adding someone

Not so much anymore. I get tired of the blog posts being promoted over and over and over. No one really talks. I do like the family pictures ,vacations etc...I do however, accept new friends that like to play the same fb games I like to play..

Thank you for that, I think that a lot of people really think its okay to randomly add people up just because you like the same amount of salt in your food. Real friends are hard to come by imho.
