I was wondering if anyone had any advice on naturally relieving heartburn. I have been eating soda crackers, but it is not doing the trick. There are no stores open here on a Sunday night. Maybe, something from the kitchen I can try? Here are some home remedies I came by researching the internet that my help someone else. Heartburn Home Remedies Glass Water One spoon of baking soda Chamomile Tea Almonds Sugar Free Chewing gum Aloe Vera Gel Caps Glass of Water One Spoon Ginger Root Spicy Mustard 1spoon Eggs Foods With High Protein I decided on some scrambled eggs and chamomile tea...Wish me luck!

Sometimes home remedies don't work, as you have found out. I agree see a doctor, self medication isn't always safe or just doesn't work.

Thank you for your thoughtfulness. Fortunately this time a scrambled egg did the trick.

See a doctor. Sometimes heartburn is from physical causes (mine is) and it can be very dangerous. I had a friend die a few years ago from ignoring it,

Thank you. I know it is one of the signs of a heart attack. Truthfully, I think I may have overdone it, drinking soda pop today.

Might not be a bad idea to drink a little buttermilk. I have not had that in years. Thank you for the suggestion.

Sorry - I have nothing to suggest as it's not a problem I've had.

I get heart burn if I drink too much coffee or have too much chocolate. I just keep Rolaids handy. Occasional is normal but if it's chronic then it can cause other issues. Did you find something natural that worked better?

Every once in awhile I get a little heartburn, so I try to stay away from the types of food that causes it. I ate a scrambled egg and that seemed to do the trick. Thank you. I will have to get a roll of tums or rolaids, to keep on hand in the event it happens again.
