Loretta Me too. She is far from home (Albany, OR is home) and homesick, but being closer to me and where her husband drives from (Centralia) allows us to go often and be a part of her PT/OT on those days.

Loretta Thank you so much. I'm going tomorrow and will take her out in the sun for awhile. Stop at Starbucks as we go through the hospital and I'll have a picnic to eat with it. She is excited to do that.

Loretta Yes. She is like me wanting results now but know she has to be patient. She is so excited she can move and getting some control of her bladder back. Today, a third finger on her right hand "woke up." She texted me all excited.

Loretta It was a huge surgery. Got her staples out two days ago and looking good there. She took steps with help yesterday. Still will drag her feet some but it's a victory.
