stinkers in my day

I gassed up the car this late morning. Three cars could be at the pumps. I came in behind another vehicle. I hoped I was wrong but wasn't. The lady in the vehicle ahead of me left her car sitting there at the pump while she went into the station to get snacks. Grrrrump from me. I pumped my gas, noticed a guy behind me so I told him I would need to back up a bit to get around Bozo Lady. Right then she came out. Acted like she was going to leave. Then she jumped out of her vehicle to dump something into the garbage can. She finally roared away- I think she noticed my grumpy face.
Earlier I had found enough energy to walk Rufus around the block. He spoils me. I could walk him on a shoe string. He knows to keep to my left side. We just came to the back of the property, heading around the corner and a lady from across the street, one of the super fancy houses, started talking to us. Her big message was that she was selling her fancy digs and did not like the pile of lumber that we have behind our shed. She hoped that stack wouldn't affect the sale of her house. She then got into the Pity Party as I call it- basically making my hubby sound like a big baby instead of a grown, educated man. Just cause he can't see. Therefore he must need taking care of and that probably has a lot to do with our not perfect property.
I don't play emotional games with neighbors. They can come get to know us. But accosting me when I am walking with my dog? No thanks. Yes I tried to be civil. She wouldn't have noticed, anyway. She only heard her own bag of wind.

Wow. That lady had nerve. Next door stopped at our door and very rudely claimed the new buyer for his property is complaining about a pallet of wood from my son just buying and removing a riding mower from that day. He wants it gone now. My son told him if she has a problem, come talk to him. The guy said he was the house owner and doesn't want the sale to fall through. Over a pallet?
Then he claimed she said it was close to her future "tree" that is on our side of the fence (the wood fence is oddly built around it), so I said, "here is a deal. Since that is "your tree" you come clean up all the pine cones, limbs etc. the wind just knocked down all over the front of our house and we will move the pallet at the same time. He got quiet and then said, "OK got your point" and walked off.
Next day my son hauled the pallet and I cleaned the tree stuff. I knew the neighbor wouldn't. I'm glad the new house we are going to is away from people.
Those who leave their cars while at the pump are so rude.

If she felt so sorry for you or bothered, she could offer to help. Annoying person.
. I go through that thing with the gas all the time where the people take off for the store for 10 minutes letting their car stay at the pump...Move your car people when you are done pumping gas..
, or they take up two pumps..inconsiderate slobs. There are a lot of that kind in this county it seems.

@snowy22315 She said her husband would help- we don't take pity party help. We don't want to be one of the Rotary Club's projects; we want to join the Rotary Club and be a participant not a project.

I'm sorry you had gas in the car this morning... Have you considered buying some Gas-X? I've heard it works wonders...
Some people are totally clueless and don't care who they inconvenience.
I would have asked the lady next-door if she wanted me to talk to the new buyers and tell them all the problems that I know about with her house... I don't like windbags and try to poke holes in their stories as much as I can.

How rude! If she only knew you and your husband, she wouldn't say such things. I'm so sorry.
