They say 60s is the new 40s. Well I believe so because nowadays people are getting 'younger' as they advance in age. Why? Thanks to the modern cosmetic surgeries and cosmetic industries for introducing many ways to improve or to delays aging process, not forgetting those who are born with good genes. But it is costly, not everyone can afford it plus it is just matter of time before real age really shows.
Why would some people want to look 25 when their actual age is 45? Its ridiculous to compete with young people. It can add extra stress to your life and make you age even faster if you were trying hard to look young. Some are so obsessed about looking youthful that they went overboard trying anything then later regretted it.
In my opinion, people should really think about how to look and feel good for their age. If you look young for your age, its a bonus but if you look older than your real age, just feel blessed that you are healthy.

You have good genes. I do agree those treatments will eventually backfired. I think some people are not ready to look old or to age gracefully that they just go for whatever they believe could make them look younger. It is not bad to want to look younger but they should realize that whatever they do, though the procedures might hold back or delay the aging, at the end the physical body will still tell their age.

In some countries getting older is something that brings respect from others but here in the West it seems the reverse is often the case. I look younger than I am but I have noticed a difference in people's attitude towards me when they learn my real age. They ask after my health, they are more careful which is all to the good but it doesn't mean that they respect my opinion, they are more likely to think my views are old fashioned once they know how old I am.

A sound mind and a healthy body is the true measure of age, having these will naturally make you look and feel younger than your age the natural way. Some people have extra money to throw , so they do it artificially and superficially and it's really up to them cause it's their money, just hope they feel the same on the inside

I don't get the whole fuss about the fear of aging. I think Mark Twain said it best when he said age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter.

Age is only a number but the more the number increases, the more it shows in the physical appearances. Yes, you are right about if one doesn't mind, it doesn't matter, but sadly, not everybody has the same kind of mentality with regards to aging gracefully.

Nowadays people is so concious about how they look. If you have money you look younger and prettier. But for me be content of what god has given you.. Be confident. It doesnt matter how you look at your age. The important is your happy and healthy.. :)

It is true what you said about to be content of what God has given to us, be happy and healthy. Some people are just not feeling good when they look in the mirror and see something they don't like about aging. They want to fix it and modern technology has all the means and ways to deliver it to them. And what more to say if they have the money to burn, it will just make things easier for them. But if I had the money to burn, I would probably consider my option.
