How are you today?
I have a busy day today, but it has fixed. I thought my Internet connection is disconnected. I went to my Internet provider, but the connection was okay.
I can't live without the Internet connection at home.
What about you? Can you live without the Internet?

am permanently disabled and my disability has left me without speech. The internet is essential for me to communicate with people and feel connected to the outside world. I communicate with an app on my iPad and iPhone that converts text to speech, but most people don't visit in person anymore and don't have the patience to deal with me typing on the machine, eevn though I am pretty fast. Anyway, without the internet, I would be able to do nothing but read and watch television. The only people I would be able to interact with, would be my aides. Although my aides are nice, they don't always want to keep me company because they are not really my friends, per se.
So would I be able to LIVE without the internet? Well, yes. But my quality of life would be so much worse and I would be so much lonelier and so much more isolated and depressed. The internet is such a blessing to people with disabilities.

@fec139, sorry to hear that. I am hoping for your swift recovery one day and you will not finally rely on the Internet. I was born without the Internet connection at home, but I started to grow dependent when I began in working online. Losing this connection could not be deadly, but depressing. I would agree the fact that our lives would be isolated without his connectivity. I am happy to know that it helps a lot to the disabled people.

@dodoazo Yes, you are right that internet is one of some the advancements of technology. It will help us to live easier but it is not the main need of life. There are many substitutions of the internet to get information and money as well. Have a nice day!

If I was the only one without internet it would be very hard, because I don't want to not know things others know and talk about in the net. About 35% of the world population are connected to the Internet. Also I do almost all my shoppings online. And if I have the need to talk to someone on three in the morning I can do it in the chat online. Not to talk about the endless information that for a trivia fan like me is like heaven.

@dodoazo business is not everything, emotions and fulfillment of your soul are no less important or even more important. We are individuals before everything.

@dodoazo I did get what you are saying and I gave you an answer about that. You said that it is reasonable to need the Internet only if you use it for business and I told you what I think about it.

I think iddly once in a while that internet did not exist a few years ago. And now, it is a very important part of my life. I would not want to go any place where there´s no internet.

I can live without internet but it would be very difficult. My work and interactions with my friends mainly depend on the internet.

I can live without it but it wouldn't be the same. I'd probably get more physical and spend my time doing other things. But surely I would miss the good things - especially the money lol - that come with the internet :)

I can survive to live without the internet, but I must say it will be difficult for me. And the life is not so pleasant to be without the internet. As the internet can give us a lot of convenience. The world is smaller and we can contact anybody easily by the internet. Today I even don't have to have a TV because the internet can do the same and more for me. To tell you the truth, there are two different connections from two ISP at my home. So if one is down, at least another can work. It is not possible for both of them down at the same time.

I think I can live without Internet during summer days when I have the chance to get out of my town and hike on the hills and forests from my region, but now it's autumn in my country and it's getting colder and colder, therefore I spend most of my time indoors, and when I'm at home I can't imagine a single day without the internet, without it my existence during these long autumn and then winter months would certainly be much duller.

Well it would be an immense inconvenience and expense to me as I would have to go very far to pay bills ..I would not like it.
And of course would hate that I could not be on myLot.
I also feel it helps us to stay healthy in this house as so much can be found online to do with medical conditions.
