Well that is my working day complete and it is now time to get ready for my ten mile cycle home, only downside is it is raining. No I don't mind riding in the rain that much, but as the leave are all falling off the trees at the moment it can be very slick on the cycle track, so it will be a slow and steady cycle ride home for me tonight.
I hope you have a good few hours and I will see you all once the girls are in bed :-)

Oh dear Paul, you make me homesick here in Greece. Talking of wet leaves reminds me of when I used to commute to London on a train every day and sometimes the trains were delayed due to the 'wrong kind of leaves' falling on the track. I hope you encounter only the right kind as you cycle home tonight.

I was admiring all the fallen leaves as I walked today. I can imagine just the least bit of moisture making them treacherous and poor footing or biking. Be safe.

@mrtoffee,Glad to know that I am not alone who loves going out in the rain.I go for long walk in the evening no matter how the weather is.I even don't carry umbrella or put on a rain coat then.Walking along the road completely drenched is really fun.I love it.

We are still in summer mode here and our rainy season is over so were on the hot and humid road--the only wet you get here is sweat while riding as bike! :O)

hi@mrtoffee o h do be careful those wet leaves are really slippery . I remember years and years back run ning across campus as I was two minutes late toa class and my fall. I fell hard on the wet leaves and of all things broke my tailbone. I had such pain , and for six weeks I had to take a pillow to all my classes to sit on. only 21 I was so totally embarrassed lol.

I ride rain, sun, fog and ice @leapea2417 as it's my only form of transport, I have to say the sunny days are my favourite lol
